Comedian Michael Colyar has blasted United Airlines for allegedly booting him off a flight because he is black.
The 'Barbershop' star claimed he was forced off his flight at Dulles International Airport in Virginia after accusing a stewardess of giving a white passenger preferential treatment.
The race row blew up after Mr Colyar, who won the talent show 'Star Search' 21 years ago, reportedly refused to allow his bag to be moved from an overhead storage bin so that a white woman could stow her bags there instead.

Full flight I bet.
All airlines will tell you about the 1 up and 1 down rule. (big bag up, smaller item under the seat in front of you)
It’s their rules. we FFs ALL deal with it when the flights are full. Even in 1st class.
He should grow up.

Refused to allow his bag to be moved from an overhead storage bin so that a white woman could stow her bags there instead.Moving bags happens all the time. It is not racism. Some bags will fit under the seat, some won't.

...he was removed from the flight after inquiring about how to make a complaint about the stewardess after she shot him 'dirty looks.' Think this might be an in-the-eye-of-the-beholder moment.

Sounds like Colyar started (contrived?) the matter and then made such a disruption thet he deservedly got booted off. Who is the racist here?

Mr Colyar . . . also works as a motivational speaker . . . Wonder what he motivates people to do?

So a man was asked to do something for a woman... Seems like that’s the golden rule, isn’t it? Anyway that’s the way I was brought up.

Moving my relatively small backpack on a full flight is one thing. Moving it to make room for an oversized bag that never should have been allowed to be carried on in the first place is another. And ticks me off every time.
He’s still an idiot.
