I know, I know: Its a Zogby poll. But cmon. I had to blog it. Just because I knew that headline would rock your world. Hes not leading by this much. But he is leading, comfortably.

And your suggestion is...
“Just becasue the left doesnt love someone doesnt mean theyre the best candidate.”
True, I was just contradicting a direct statement that the left loves Perry. They certainly do not.
Nor do they love Palin, or Bachmann, or Cain, or even Romney for that matter.
LOL!
You’re preaching to the choir, FRiend. He’s another Texas RINO.
It cracks me up how people think all these highly paid pollsters, whose lives depend on accurate polling, simply make up the numbers based on who they want to win.
“I would like to request that the task force give particular consideration to the needs of the nations farmers, ranchers, and agriculture workers, and other members of rural communities, Perry continued, noting his administrations focus on economic development for rural Texans.
Rural populations have a high proportion of uninsured people, rising health care costs, and often experience lack of services.
-What exactly is wrong with these statements? If he said, “Please implement a single-payer, gov’t run healthcare program,” please post.
But he’s not the right candidate whose last name has 5 letters that starts with P.
Ok, at the time I thought it was meaningless. But given her drop in the polls, maybe we should reconsider.
Remember when Bachmann won the Iowa Straw Poll? Yes, that was when Perry announced, and some people say his announcement is what sunk her.
But remember what ELSE happened the weekend she won the straw poll? The media had a big story about how Bachmann’s team was trashing Sarah Palin — that there was a big falling out. Palin supporters here at FR carried that story, complaining about Bachmann’s choice of campaign chief, and how Bachmann’s campaign workers were spreading scurrilous lies about Palin.
Could it be that this soured Bachmann to the tea party people who were supporting her? She was thrashed pretty hard here even before then as well.
Bachmann did not show well in public opinion polls regarding the last debate and then didn't have quite the votes she had hoped to have in Iowa. Those two things could have damaged her backing, especially that last lackluster debate showing. Debates can work both ways, good and bad, for a candidate.
Another rumor. I guess it has some sense to it, because it puts her past the next debate (funny how the people who argue correctly that we can’t be sure of Perry because he hasn’t been in a debate yet don’t see that as a problem for Palin). By waiting until after the debate, she can see if Perry is for real or a dud.
It would be a shame if Palin were to announce she wasn’t running, and then have Perry blow up at the debate and leave us with Romney again.
If Perry does well, maybe that will be what Palin was waiting for. Who knows. I do doubt she will announce on the 3rd, because she said she doubted she would decide by then, and I can’t imagine her using a Glenn Beck event for her announcement.
herding the sheep, herding the sheep...
He lost to Isakson in the Republican primary, who’s rolled over pretty much everyone since.
Not sure what you can take from that.
But Bachmann did very well in the debate.
It might be because Perry stole her thunder by declaring that he would run for president on the same day that Bchmann won the Iowa straw poll.
Didn’t you see the actual thread where that stupid story was discussed and dismissed as another canard? Maybe it was the other south freeper....
If something is there, one would think it would have been found after almost 11 years as governor.
None of the other frontrunners broke out to double-digit leads in every poll. Nor were polls taken after they did showing the majority of Republican satisfied with the candidates running.
Looks like you're engaged in wishful thinking.
I think Sarah Palin's decimation of Say-it-Ain't-So Biden in the VP debate shows that she can hold her own in such a venue. On the other hand (and perhaps to your point), destroying such a feeble target is child's play. The GOP lineup is more formidable than Plugs.
Im not engaging in anything but the truth....These polls don’t mean anything right now even with Perry gaining huge numbers...he hasn’t even debated anyone and one can’t give him the mantle, its about expectations not real results....if you are a Perry supporter you need to get ready for the long haul not a quick sprint
