It doesn’t occur to you at all, that a Democrat poll could be gamed to support the candidate the Left might desire?
Really? Wow...
Folks, this has long since crossed the line of sane support for a candidate.
We’re now even encouraging Conservative candidates to pull out so Perry can run unopposed.
It’s flat out embarrassing to watch you folks stoop to this.
Where?
Oh, we're sure that it *could* happen, I suppose. But you have yet to show that it actually *is* happening. That's the point. Until you can do that, you're nothing but just another whining little Palin supporter who can't stand it that somebody besides Palin is grabbing the limelight and the momentum, and who has to spin weird little conspiracy theories to account for the fact that reality is not meshing with your own personal little self-contained fact space.
And I'm telling you this as someone who's still holding out for DeMint to change his mind - i.e. neither a Perry nor a Palin supporter.
If you have any polls that would indicate a different trend, please enlighten us. But just complaining because you don't like or disagree with the outcome of a poll is not a compelling argument.
Show me where I have, in even once instance, encouraged or suggested ANY candidate should pull out. If you can’t (and you can’t) than you are a LIAR.
“It doesnt occur to you at all, that a Democrat poll could be gamed to support the candidate the Left might desire?”
Can you site ANY OTHER POLL that shows a different result?
Thank you in advance.
We don't have to be fighting each other over the three quality candidates (Palin, Bachmann, Perry). We will have to choose a candidate among them to unite behind to thwart the RINOs and destroy Obozo. We will know shortly whether Sarah is running. We will know whether we are choosing from two or three candidates. Let's not alienate each other in advance by being overly vehement against any one of them. Accentuate the positive as to those three is probably the wisest course. Don't you think so?
I don’t mind republicans running in the primary, I’d just prefer they not pick up democratic rhetoric in attacking their fellow republicans.
If your going to attack the character or record of a fellow republican come up with something new to attack.
Not necessarily. Bachmann and Cain lack major financial backing or experience. Santorum hasn't held office in awhile.
Palin is the only credible candidate further right than Perry who could win the nomination and even that is debatable.
Perry has his flaws but he also has a trump card in his deck which is Texas' robust job growth in the face of a national recession.
I think a lot of FReepers see that he's the most practical choice to beat Obama even if he's not the full slate. He's further right than Dubya and FR was full-bore pro-Bush for at least six years.
If Palin jumps in, I'm happy with Palin or Perry but the last thing any of us wants is for them to cancel each other out and give us Romney.
I give some people credit for being pragmatic in the face of four years or Obama.
