He’ll offer some puny $3K to $5K tax credit for hiring a new employee. Then when the hiring doesn’t happen he will demagogue the employers as being “greedy” and “racists deliberately trying to undermine my Presidency”.

More money going into the schools? We don’t need renovation.......remember when schools were one room buildings? I think my parents and grand parents did pretty good with schools like this. Put all this on hold until our country comes back to what it’s supposed to be. We don’t need big fancy schools. We need superior education for the kids.

I don't even have to read between the lines to know what he's up to.

Let's invest in schools. Then, in about 20 years, we will have an educated population that can get the economy back on track.

Unless, of course, the schools just train people to be leftwing zealots. If that happens, we're screwed.

What? It already did happen?

Rats.

So he is going to resign? Because with a 36% approval in Gallup that move would have a lot of appeal in both parties and would likely cause a rebound in the economy.

Good grief..tens of billions of dollars to ‘renovate’ schools?

THIS IS HIS PLAN?

I guess the ‘stimulus’ money he doled out for the teacher union retirement funds has run it’s course. This is just a way to funnel money to the same damn money pit. It will probably have some byline that allows the school system to spend the money ‘on anything’ and then it will all pour into the stupid unions...AGAIN!

WAKE UP AMERICA!!

RE :”President Obama said Monday that the jobs plan he will unveil next week will include ideas with bipartisan appeal. Speaking in the White House Rose Garden, Obama said his proposals will “put more money in the pockets of working families and middle-class families.” The president's plan, to be unveiled after Labor Day, is expected to include tens of billions of dollars to renovate thousands of public schools and a tax break to encourage businesses to hire new workers, according to people familiar with White House deliberations. “So my hope and expectation is that we can put country before party and get something done for the American people,” he said

So far Obama has claimed that both his Stimulus (economic Recovery act of 2009) and his Obama-care were Republican ideas, so what else is new? More like his proposals will “put more money in the pockets of left leaning voters like those government union people in the picture.

Photobucket

Obama says he is the only one that puts ‘country over politics’, and he does this splitting his time between vacations and fund-raisers.

President Obama said Monday that the jobs plan he will unveil next week will include ideas with bipartisan appeal.

He means some "tax cuts" targeted at people not paying taxes (for Republicans, of course) and more corruption and vote-buying (for Dims).

Obama thinks a shovel ready job is having a union man dig a hole so another union man, waiting til the first one is done, can then fill it while the digger rests.

Voila! One hole, two jobs. And what teamwork!
