Gives Perry lots of credit for having clear priorities, a well-honed executive style, and a very effective approach for a politician.

Makes him out to be a formidable and disciplined political competitor.

Leftists generally take a very narrow gauged measuring stick when measuring a candidate and they always lay it only along the horizontal axis: how intelligent is the candidate?

They almost never inquire into the character of the candidate unless it is to destroy it, often on the basis of race. As I have posted, this is why the left is so flummoxed by Sarah Palin who says to them, you are judging me according to a false standard, stop worrying about my syntax and start thinking about my spiritual alignment. Stop judging me horizontally and start measuring me vertically.

So this author goes halfway and he is at least generous enough to grant Governor Perry the right to be judged on his own terms which is whether he is effective in governing, especially in creating jobs.

Better we are unlikely to get.

I think the real test is can Perry name all 57 states.

Politico is not worth the time. It has really deteriorated.

As soon as President Obama releases his college transcripts, I guess we’ll be able to make a fair comparison between el’ presidente and Governor Perry.

As opposed to a President who can't write simple English? Since 1974, with Gerald Ford,the Democrats have labeled every Republican President, and at least one Vice-President, as 'dumb'. I think they have pretty much worn that out.

Obama is bilingual...he speaks jive when appearing before his peeps. Furthermore, his world-renowned humility would never permit him to release his stellar college transcripts that would unquestionably make Perry shrink in awe.

They finely admit Bush had a brain. At least that’s something.
