The boomers have destroyed (in my lifetime) the family, marriage, sex, objectivity, morality, piety, a sense of shame, privacy, community, personal responsibility and the economy. Is there anything left the eternal adolescents wont destroy?

Well, we’re certainly trying hard enough to export our good jobs with one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world and a serious disregard among many for a good education.

That’s why our next president needs to focus on growth with “black jobs”. We need to dismantle the EPA and start exploiting our natural resources: oil, natural gas, coal, gold, rare earth metals etc. Those are the real high paying jobs—not 11.00 an hour putting windmills together in the middle oF nowhere.

Is this one of the reasons modern men are reluctant to get married?

Where is the Congressional Working Man's caucus - wait, no all we have is the Congressional Black Caucus - the one which sells out American blacks by promoting antiquated policies which might have had their place a few decades ago, but are a cancer on modern black society. And the Congressional Hispanic Caucus - which sells out US workers of all sorts by insisting on rights for illegal aliens. Hold the presses; call Congress back in. Given the bleak prospects for American men, the moment cries out for comprehensive immigration reform - i.e. amnesty for the world's unskilled laborers to come to America and demand legalization. We already have administrative amnesty through Obama's focus on NOT deporting people whose only violation is to overstay their visas. Why not formalize it by granting legal status, in-state tuition and well, why stop there, the right to vote in federal elections for illegal aliens. .

We have a dysfunctional financial system and those who are forced to operate within a dysfunctional system appear to those watching to be everything from mildly irrational to utterly mad whereas those attempting to function within that system see themselves as simply doing what is necessary.

Liberals have never thought they could increase women’s stature in the workplace by simply working to improve things for women.

It was a zero sum situation for them, so they did (and are doing) all in their power to tear down the “sexist, oppressive white oligarchy” in the American workforce.

The ungodly kicked God out of our nation’s business, so why should we expect His blessings?

In other words, all the liberal counterfeit minority supporting programs have squeezed 20%-30% of the working male population out of employment.

If a man wants to work manual labor until he finds something better, regulations are enforced upon him to pay more fees than his income, while illegal aliens are able to work without impediment under the horizon.

Incompetent upper middle class female executives are not scrutinized in their performance or abilities and promoted over their male counterparts, not only inverting the corporate power structures, but now further reducing the corporate ethic.

Unlike competition within formerly male industries, the minorities who have gleaned more success with far less risk, are not satiated with the success previously claimed by a male hard work ethic. They have been corrupted by the liberal programs attempting to counterfeit grace with handicapping the competent majority and promoting the incompetent minority. Those who have benefited from those programs sincerely believe they are entitled to the success and continued success with discounted hardship.

This is why entitlement programs will not be reduced politically.

When a righteous man receives grace, he is grateful and humble for the grace, which he recognizes he doesn’t deserve.

The unrighteous arrogant man who receives grace and lives in a worldly fashion, confuses the grace as righteous justice.

The unrighteous man further degenerates into not being satiable with justice, but always demanding grace without humility, even to the point of attacking those who have afforded him grace.

There will come a point where either the unrighteous must change their thinking or the righteous and unrighteous are separated.

The issue of the plight of the American Working Man is summarized by the below observation..

You CANNOT..in 2012...run ANY political campaign that is ambiguous about your immigration “position” in the current job market.

Unemployed Americans are looking for assurances of their governments’ concern about THEIR plight...not that of businesses forced into looking for disposable labor because of onerous tax and regulatory policy.

Illegal Labor is the Feds out for preserving the status quo regarding Taxes and Regulation...and is the ultimate litmus test as to the candidates in question commitment to meaningful regulatory and tax reform. If they are wishy-washy on the subject...they have no real intent to disturb the DC status quo...no matter how big their cowboy hat and six-gun.

In short, it all comes down to Taxes and Regulation....the indexes of a narcissistic government.

I can remember when virtually every young male that I knew graduating from high school, immediately after graduating, either:

1. went into the military

2. went full-time to college

3. got a good paying job and started a family

(I don’t understand the young people today, so many of whom just seem to be bumming around, just wasting time.)

The dirty little secret is that the EEO put women in jobs because they were cheap and pushed men, especially black men, out the bottom.

It’s a bleak assessment, one I’m sure is in great degree borne out in the many statistics the writer trots out.

But I do sense a bit of a disconnect from the real world here. Individuals are not statistics, they’re people.

“The long-term fix is simple to spell out and tough to achieve: getting more men to attend college and improving the skills of those who don’t.”

Gee! Another approach would be for them all to ask for a raise! :)

I love the way these clowns assume that if all guys had better education tomorrow, they’d all suddenly get better jobs and make more money.

Apparently there are lots of great jobs out there just hanging around unfilled....

What BS.

Our globalism chickens are coming home to roost,

"The economic downturn exacerbated forces that have long been undermining men in the workplace, says Lawrence Katz, a Harvard professor of labor economics. Corporations have cut costs by moving manufacturing jobs, routine computer programming, and even simple legal work out of the country. The production jobs that remain are increasingly mechanized and demand higher skills. Technology and efforts to reduce the number of layers within corporations are leaving fewer middle-management jobs. "

The American worker and American business have been placed in an untenable position - competing with global corporations that access third world countries that lack even minimal standards regarding the environment, the work place, and quality control - where one can live well on $5,000 - $10,000 / year ... all for quarterly profits and world wide redistribution of the wealth of the American middle class.

Many of "the American Working Man" haven't faded away. They have joined the SEIU, Democrats, sloths on welfare and every other wealth redistribution entitlement ripoffs ever conceived by liberals solely for votes. they haven't faded away - they've just changed colors.
