When you hear every single liberal media outlet in the country say, "We will know more about Rick Perry after we vet his 11 years in office," you need to understand that what they vindictively mean is: "President Obama and his followers will be proud of us after we are done with the mother of all smearing campaigns against the conservative governor of Texas."
Not since Ronald Reagan has a Republican candidate for president evoked such outright fear and loathing from the mainstream media and the far-left.
They are flat-out petrified of Perry and are desperately trying to kill off his candidacy before it can take hold. Why?
Simple. As they suspiciously heap praise on the likes of Jon Huntsman and even Mitt Romney, they increasingly worry that Perry has the best chance to defeat their handpicked socialist messiah now occupying the Oval Office.

If you’re going to quote Jim, why not provide a courtesy ping?
A proven Governor with over a decade of actual successful experience and a stellar record is too much for you to comprehend. Instead, you embellish the record of a failed Governor who has no chance getting elected against Obama and you attack our best hope with hearsay rhetoric, totally lacking fact or credibility. Which sadly, you post without a second thought.
Fortunately, your small following won't matter in any way in the coming primaries and we will finally get a real candidate who can not only beat Obama, but will straighten out this mess we find ourselves in.
The sooner you learn that fact for yourself, the better we can defeat this evil we are faced with. Palin understands this herself, why can't you?
The comical thing is, if you manage to destroy our best chance to win, out of spite or to prove a selfish point, what will you win in the end? Another 4 years of Obama, of which we all know the outcome.
FWIW, I have a hunch Perry and Palin have done some collaberating of sorts and Perry's entry came as no surprise to Palin. To me, given their alleged friendship, it doesn't seem likely they would not have been talking to each other at least in general terms but it's ONLY a hunch. He puts himself in the line of fire to see what damage if any the Dims and the dinomedia(but I repeat myself) can do. So far, Palinbots, Bachmannbots, Paulbots and the like have laid down more fire than the other side. Perry's defenders have fired back in kind and seem to be winning the battle -- so far.
That said, I think Perry should vigorously go after the California vote and pick Moonbeam for a running mate. ;^)
Out of courtesy of course. Jim has been pinged often enough, he knows. Why bother him?
We need a winner. Perry may or may not be that guy, but dangit, I want to beat 0bama so badly, I’d almost (well not really) take Ron Paul or Mittster. Nah. They’d throw me into the third party bucket and we’d get 0bambi again.
You should maybe ask the left coast's vaunted paper of record, the LaLa Times that question. It WAS their statement after all. You don't believe the LaLa Times???
“Not since Ronald Reagan has a Republican candidate for president evoked such outright fear and loathing from the mainstream media and the far-left.”
Focus on this part of the equation...public lynching of Rick Perry. We go with who they fear. Rick Perry and we will win!!
Perry will bury Obama!
It is interesting how so spot on Jim Robinson is everytime he writes. I am in complete agreement.
Yes, she has stood up against them, but IMO their relentless assaults did real damage to her standing with independents and many "moderate" Republicans. Tina Fey's characterizations of her in particular were very damaging. What else can explain her high negative polling numbers. It's a real shame.
The proof is because they are trying their best to give him the "Palin treatment". They were afraid of her too.
That's why when you say the words, "Palin treatment", everybody automatically knows what you're talking about. A new phrase has entered the public vocabulary.
I have read countless nasty attacks against Perry on the Free Republic and I suspect that many are from infiltrators who want to trash our threads with misinformation and potshots. Those from the outside who happen to find our website will be polluted by the trashings these agitators have done to the threads.
It is time to start taking names.
Don’t make me sick! That quote from Jim Robinson has been posted before. I am sure it has been posted many more that I have not seen. So don’t get so uppity that it has appeared here. What you should be saying is that Jim Robinson is spot on.
You seem to take everything else anti-Perry at face value, why would you not accept the LaLa Times take? It’s presumably anti-Perry, no? Or do you prefer to be selective in cherry picking your material? Hypocrite.
Unfortunately, those “untruths” are floating freely around this forum and they will do damage to our side one way or another.
