Yup. Hit Olney about 5 minutes ago. A few bangs, then about 20 seconds of shaking.

Felt in Central VA too. Was the loudest and longest I’ve ever experienced. Now time to do damage assessment.

I can confirm (NW DC). Still feeling a little disoriented.

Right - felt it too in Howard County Maryland - and Weather Channel just reported it.
Thought it was a gust of wind rattling the windows, but the house started shaking.
That was strange;)

Yup, same same. I’m in the middle of MoCo. Kinda cool.
What’s interesting is that the dogs didn’t care. I thought dogs were supposed to get all freaked out before an earthquake and warn you. Mine didn’t seem interested.

My office is between Baltimore and Gambrills, monitor started shaking a little and then the ciling started moving. Whole building emptied out like someone set off a fire alarm.
Didn't expect an earthquake around here - spooky.

Same here. It knocked small items off shelves and shook all the walls. Never experienced anything like this in 40 years in the area.
