It is warm and inviting and part of the reintroduction that began with the Steve Bannon movie.
I have long thought that Governor Palin has been honestly trying to figure out the best use of the energy and attention and anger! that swirls around the name Sarah Palin.
And with this video, I think she just shared which way she is leaning.

Depends on what level you are talking about. We have literally thousands of public offices, and there is plenty of openings for people to win these offices even if they lack great means. In Europe, the parties are virtually closed corporations. You must be recruited by a party there. Virtually all countries are monarchial in spirit. Here in this country the voluntary spirit is alive and well. Not so in Europe: usually the people are willing to leave everything to the professionals. We are a republic, and republican government is hierarchial government, but our sense of hierarchy is very different from that of Europe.

My dream scenario is what somebody way up-thread suggested: That Palin call Mark and Bob on FRIDAY, announce then, and say "I made a promise to you and I'm keeping it, just like I'll keep my promises to the American people."
She'd be SHOWING, not telling, but SHOWING, how she honors promies, and also ... the excitement surrounding the Sept. 3 event would go off the charts, and the place would be mobbed by folks -- and if a bunch of donations hit Palin between a Friday annoucement (to keep her promise to M&B) and an official declaration Saturday, it would really boost the profound image and impact of the Sept. 3 event.
That's my favorite scenario! We can only wait and see what transpires! For the first time in a long time, this is kind of fun.

What difference does it make if, over a few generations after their ancestors braved journeys to leave tyranny and oppression in Britain to begin life anew, struggle to provide their essentials here from scratch, and over that time that generation had worked, created, and inherited tangibles, and eventually some become solvent and successful in providing essential needs for the citizens .. soap, food, trade, businesses, etc.?
They had a common bond .. and they had integrity, determination, courage and virtuous goals.
They suffered, lost, and sacrificed so much for their intractable demand for freedom, loyalty to each other and their righteous vision .. one for which we now still find ourselves fighting.

I’m not “afraid” of Palin. I’m afraid of a Goldwater-esque loss that would neuter the conservative movement for decades.
Go walk down the street and ask random people about Palin. Report the results.
