Newt is like Adam Dunn Potential to hit it into the stratosphere but you have to overlook 140 SO and .160 BA NEXT
I agree, and loved your post. Especially the “disgraceful spectacle of stupid ass questions asked by morons” part.
Palin won by default.
She outsmarted them all,again.
I thought Bachmann did very well.
She has been out front on lots of issues, and she never backs down. Pawlenty was way off base accusing her of having no record in Congress. I wanted to ask Paws “what’s YOUR record in Congress, punk?”.
Your opinion means a lot especially when followed by a picture of a chop on a stick...I won’t be eating untill midnight...you should share...
This is all necessary debates to see what the answers are. Let the folks mull them over and decide. Three gave poor answers in the biggest debate of their life. They are all very smart people with some variance of belief. We need these in the public eye to see how they handle a non-PC question.
Ronald Reagan won hands down because he was NEVER PC.
Im not sure who won tonight but I do know this: Freepers your enemy was nowhere on that podium tonight. Hes in Washington and his name is Barack Obama.
Did I do good?
WoooooT!!
I did business with Huntsman Inc. buying polymers from them. Unethical people at that company. Didn’t honor our contracts, wouldn’t fix crappy product and would stop making product and then tell us too late to get a replacement...
THE MOST IMPRESSIVE OF ANY CANDIDATE IN A LONG, LONG TIME.
We need a man who ...
1)Knows how to lead.
2)Knows how to listen.
3)Knows how to get to the nitty gritty of the problem...and
4)Knows HOW TO WORK!
Cain is the man with all of those qualifications. No matter if the trouble is domestic or international...the ability to solve prolems, be diplomatic, listen and understand are all abilities a leader must have. Cain has shown those over and over. OMG I hope his campaign gets a fire under it now.
We cannot lose this man to the players in back rooms of the good old boy political club. Or to the ignorant media that keeps chosing to ignore him. Isn't anyone in the GOP interested in winning?????
Heh. I grew up in Michigan when Romney, Sr. was the big name. Mit is 2nd generation, not self-made. Not sure if he was “given a company” as a purely factual point, but he was born and bred into business and politics.
Tonight’s winner - Gov. Palin
Loser of the night - Fox News
While FOX fixed it so that rep. candidates look patty and stupid, mr. OZERO is up state pocketing 2.3mill and blaming the pubs for what ails America! I really believe we were setup. This will only give ammo to the mediaWHORES to bring more doubt into the minds of Americans that our side is completely full of losers, whiners and completely at fault for the situation we find ourselves in right now. This was a perfect opportunity to slam the bastard right on his butt, but instead they were fighting like little children. THEY LOST A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY....and FOX was in THE FIX!
Andrea Tantaros: "Tim Pawlenty is toast". Huntsman looked unprepared, having no plan whining he's only been in 6 weeks. Joke excuse from ex-governor. Was Pawlenty vs. Bachmann, Santorum vs Paul, and Romney vs Romney.
Doug Schoen Newt best but flawed candidate, Bachmann hurt herself.
Pat Caddell GOP was the loser tonight, no candidate seized the moment. Washington structured debate, not where country is. Says the ongoing political vacuum from Obama and these candidates could lead to a 3rd party.
John LeBoutillier hated the debate, "jobs" was the 9th of 9 topics given by Fox on the candidates. Pawlenty will bomb out. Lack of passion for the stage.
83 negative Pawlenty, 66 positive Newt, 43 postitive Romney. They didn't have the others.
Newt said it the best, “Still 15 months to go”. Rush may run by then.
time stopped when Newt called Chris out—the comment of the night—took some youknowwhats
It’s the passion that drives republicans to go door to door for their candidate, to raise money for the candidate, to try to sell their candidate, to go into forums and win voters for that candidate.
There was no passion for McCain. We didn’t have the passion to sell McCain... we just held our noses and voted against Obama by choosing McCain.
I had passion for Bush in 2000 but in 2008 I just voted.
From Hannity's remarks I'd say Fox is in it for Romney....towing his line I think. Hannity spent far too much time today defending Romney....got sickening after a bit.
Agreed, Newt won.
That was two hours wasted that I will never get back. I didn’t like the debate at all:
(1)Gotcha questions
(2)The questioners intentionally tried to start fights
(3)The audience was ill behaved
(4)Nobody looked good
No winners.
I was surprized that the most effective debater was Newt. Too bad he is so flawed. He really needs to be advising not running though.
I do not believe that Palin or Perry would have added anything in the current forum. This was a poorly done debate. I’m starting to think that debates are a waste of time.
Also, Santurom did real well with what little time he had.
“Next debate they need to fit Grampa Nutbar for a straight jacket.”
POST OF THE DAY!
ROTFLOL!
