That was two hours wasted that I will never get back. I didn’t like the debate at all:

(1)Gotcha questions
(2)The questioners intentionally tried to start fights
(3)The audience was ill behaved
(4)Nobody looked good

No winners.

I was surprized that the most effective debater was Newt. Too bad he is so flawed. He really needs to be advising not running though.

I do not believe that Palin or Perry would have added anything in the current forum. This was a poorly done debate. I’m starting to think that debates are a waste of time.

Perry will be in the next debate.

As far as I know, Sarah Palin is not running and it will look too conspicious for her to jump in now. The media will be focusing on her shying away from the debates which have been happened already.

They did the same to Al Gore when he tried to limit the debates to minimize the chances of making gaffes. Americans know that’s why it’s done. Palin knows that and that’s why I doubt she’s running. She knows it would look strange to suddenly jump in. Besides, she’s not taking advantage of brushing up on her debating skills which is another reason to be in the debates as early as possible.

And Sarah Palin is one that needs to brush up on her debating skills. The last thing we want to see is Sarah Palin’s second debate to be with President Obama. That would be a disaster, not just for her but any of these candidates (with the exception of maybe Newt who is a pro debater)
