Tea Party ‘terrorists’? The ruling class comes unglued (& leftists become dangerous)

Tea Party ‘terrorists’? The ruling class comes unglued
Jeffrey T. Kuhner

**SNIP**

Leftist expediency now requires that the most heinous, reckless and degrading comments be used. Tea Partyers are not simply being slandered, they are being dehumanized. Ironically, it is liberals who are paving the way for potential political violence. Terrorists, hostage-takers, suicide bombers, neo-Nazis, the Christian Taliban — all of the epithets regularly thrown at Tea Party members by rabid progressives — eventually foster one overriding emotion: hatred. It is not much of a leap for some deranged Democratic activist to conclude that the only way to defeat the phantom specter of marching right-wing jihadists is to slaughter them. The Black Panthers, the Weathermen, the Symbionese Liberation Army, the Unabomber — the U.S. radical left has been littered with violent movements marked by the irrational loathing of a menacing Middle America.

Yet the recent attacks on Tea Partyers are more than dangerous and hypocritical. They represent the gradual dissolution of America’s social compact. We are no longer one nation, but two – liberal and conservative. Blue state versus red state; left versus right; progressivism versus traditionalism. The country is splintering along ideological lines. In some ways, it was inevitable. The 1960s unleashed powerful forces — militant feminism, anti-Americanism, pacifism and the sexual revolution. Radical leftists have ruthlessly pursued their goal to erect a multicultural social democracy. Having slowly taken over the commanding heights of popular culture, the universities, public schools, the courts, the establishment media and the mammoth federal bureaucracies and government agencies, they are on the cusp of achieving their national transformation. The Obama presidency is the culmination of the 1960s left’s long march to power.

This is why Tea Party activists are so reviled by liberal Democrats: They are traditional America’s last line of defense.

By the way, I really like your state (Virginia). I recently backpacked the Shenandoah leg of the Appalachian Trail. Virginia is a great state, for the most part (aside from the section directly across the Potomac from that sewer known as D.C).

That would be the outlook to prepare for. If we get a strong leader who actually understands our Constitution and why it is the way it is, the turn-around to freedom could be dramatic.

I recently was on a beach trip to Florida. My niece spent every raining moment reading “Atlas Shrugged”. She finished it in three days. Give the kids a chance.

Who are you going to shoot?

No one. But, in the mean time, prepare. (Oh, and a box of Trojans don't count.)

Don't forget the Ku Klux Klan. The group, founded by Southern Democrats at the end of the American Civil War, lynched freed blacks and Republicans.

How long until they’re putting us on trains - trains headed toward ‘work’ camps? Liberal liars are getting bold... luckily we outnumber them.. and we’re gaining daily.

Great post as usual, Matchett!

I don't patronize any theaters that show films written, produced, directed or acted in by lefties.

This, of course, eliminates me from having to go to the movies at all.

I subscribe to an all-movie channel which shows many classic films....and I can revel in the golden age of movies.

Spielberg's "Dream Works" and Obama's "Hopey, Changey" catch-words kinda mesh together, don't they! Both of these leftists create breath-taking dreams for the masses, none of which will ever come to reality.

Sayyyyy, isn't that right out of Saul Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals"? Isolate and dehumanize your opponent? Yes, I believe it is.

It's out of an older playbook than Alinsky's. Let's visit Europe in the 1930's and a bit farther east in the 1920's.

The civil government, thanks to the War on Drugs, has a parallel architecture to the military's War on Terror template for intelligence collection, fusion cell operations, operational planning and focused targeting operations. Very few people who haven't worked on both sides realize how similar these systems are. They even borrow a lot of the same vocabulary.

In fact, a lot of what we eventually used in the military was originally implemented by federal law enforcement. So, if you're expecting the government to 'fight terrorism' in the U.S., looking at Iraq for urban warfare and Afghanistan for rural warfare would be instructive.

The difference takes a little bit of imagination, but not much. The factors are the same, but the impact of some are vastly magnified. As an example, information operations takes on a whole new dimension for the civil side, as does media cell operations on the insurgent side. Video become more powerful than guns. I understand your point about the French Revolution, but liberals can't bring back the guillotine. To play with the anachronistic example further, think of it like this. If someone takes a video of them using one to behead people and it winds up Facebook and goes viral, it destroys their narrative. So does the next 'logical' move, shutting down the internet. Once you lose the narrative, you empower your enemies in a way akin to shipping them free tanks.

I could go on, but the main point is, the U.S. Army was basically fought to a draw in Iraq and is losing in Afghanistan, using the best tactics money could buy against an semi-literate, dirt poor enemy that just refused to quit. At the end of the day, Iraqi tribalism and Afghan stubbornness defeated a trillion dollar war effort. Fighting terrorism the rich liberal way is a recipe for defeat if your opponent refuses to surrender. Fighting like Genghis Khan sounds scary, but the current U.S. Army won't do it against fellow Americans without facing a 80% desertion rate. Then it's anybody's game.

The moral? The Iraqis and Afghans knew something that Napoleon taught and we forgot. “In the long run the sword will always be conquered by the spirit.”

Something to bear in mind.

“Are you willing to put it all on the line for the guy three miles away who is being hauled off in cuffs this morning for having to many guns?”

So true. This gets to the cruxt of our decisions. Change has to start local and spread. It comes down to right and wrong. Sometimes that doesn’t include compromise.

Of course not.

However, populations migrate, witness the illegal invasion from Mexico.

If New England were purged, the good folks like you could join us and those who abhor good clean conservative living could journey north.

Obama is not going to be reelected.

He would get beaten like a rented mule in an honest election.

But we won't have an honest election.

There will be a big-time September Surprise - at least as bad as 2008 - maybe worse.

Son of Acorn will be in full swing and Nov. 6 will once again be The Day Of The walking Dead Democrat Voter. (and the virtual voter, the illegal voter, the multiple voter, etc., etc.)

That is assuming we aren't under Martial Law by election day.
