John Kerry: Media Has "Responsibility" To "Not Give Equal Time" To Tea Party

SEN. JOHN KERRY: "And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it's exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual."

This goes back to the line of argument raised during the 2004 Campaign (not just by the Kerry camp) that the media shouldn’t give equal time to the Bush Campaign because they were so clearly lying.

I just wish that there’d FINALLY be confirmation/refutation of the old allegation that back during her China Beach days Dana Delaney threw herself at Kerry ... but he only wanted to make her watch his old Vietnam movies.

I wish that I could just be flippant in response to Senator Kerry. I cannot for this reason. Even in the last few days alone, we have seen one piece after another that looks to the coming suppression of dissent in America. There is more than a whiff of the attempted mind control tactics employed in Bolshevik Russia & Nazi Germany, being introduced here.

As some may have noticed, this Ohioan almost never refers to the enemy as "Liberals," any more. They have not been the least bit "Liberal," for well over a generation. Whether the dominant motivation, is Jacobin, Marxist, Socialist, Bolshevik, Fabian, Communist, Nazi, or whatever; people like Kerry are the ideological cousins of Citizen Robespierre, Marx, Lenin, Trotsky & Hitler. They are definitely evolving towards something most of our neighbors do not expect; but this is just one more indication.

Democrats and their allies in the media truely fear the Tea Party. The US credit downgrade is going to intensify that fear. We have gotten into their heads.

I'm sure you're right. FWIW, I also think that slogan that's popping up... "if you voted for Obama in 2008 to show you're not a racist, please vote for someone else in 2012 to show you're not an idiot" is having an effect as well.

You know I am trying to remember something about that campaign, who was J.F.Kerry's running mate? You know, that noted Senator from North Carolina [1 term] who was a noted tort lawyer ... what ever happened to Senator John Edwards, I wonder?

[Talk about lying...]

There should be a ‘y’ in there, but the way it reads anyway might have been meant to be.

Real Irishmen don’t make a career of kissing the king’s ring. But then, Kerrey may not be an Irishman.

“He never said what the “untruth” was.”

Yeah, its like Orwell’s 1984. Truth changes from day to day. In 2006 Kerry and all the other Dem Senators voted against raising the debt ceiling. Now to do so is an “absurd notion” that shouldn’t get equal time. What used to be double-plus-bad is now double-plus-good!

I love that Kerry said this. He is motified of the Tea Party. Scared to death. That is why he is opening his stupid pie hole. This is a really good thing.

If you go to youtube and see Kerry "question" Rubio you will get a fell of why Kerry is freaked out. People like Rand Paul and Rubio make Kerry pee his trousers. Why? Because they are smarter than Kerry, they know how the Senate works now and they don't belong to the good old boy Senate club. They can't be bought.

Kerry knows that there is a tsunami coming at him. That is why he attempted to bark at Rubio on the Senate floor with his nose up in the air. But Rubio OWNED Kerry. It was really cool. Epic failo by Kerry because Kerry wanted to make Rubio look bad. You can see the exchange here. See the exchange at 7:40.

I’ve actually wondered if in Orientation 101, the school tells them “You’re in. You can screw around, get drunk, crash cars, whatever you want, and we’ll take care of everything else”.

Kerry is not Irish, not even a wee bit.

His great-grandparents were Jewish.......Czech immigrants who changed their last names from Kohn to Kerry when they were in Austria prior to sailing to America.

Upon voyaging to the States, the Kohn-Kerry couple threw their Jewish roots overboard forever, becoming devout Catholics.

For decades, Massachusetts voters thought Kerry was Irish-Catholic...and because the state loves its Kennedys and other Irish pols, Kerry never did one thing to disabuse anyone in the state that he wasn't of the auld sod.

When someone dug up his ancestors, Kerry feigned utter surprise that he had Jewish blood.

Teresa Thierstein Heinz, the billionaire pickle heiress is also Jewish. But she has never been phony and concealing about it like her husband (who served in Viet Nam, you know).
