Rep. Jeff Landry, Louisiana Republican, told The Daily Caller that Vice President Joe Biden should think twice before labeling him and other tea partiers terrorists or hostage-takers.
He hints that he thinks Biden, President Barack Obama and other Democrats might be more deserving of the label themselves.
Lets think about it: In my lifetime, I have created jobs and I have paid taxes in the private sector and I have helped move our economy forward, Landry remarked.
What have they done? Youve still got above 9 percent unemployment, were running record deficits and on Tuesday the president signed the largest increase of United States debt in history, he continued. Now, you tell me whos terrorizing the country?
When TheDC directly asked if hes saying Obama and the Democratic Party are the real terrorists, Landry replied, No. Im not going to engage in political sniping.
Landry added that hes pretty sure tea partiers dont fit any dictionary definition of terrorists. You look up the definition of terrorist, I dont know what the exact definition would be: I dont have Websters in front of me, he said. But youd think it would be someone who inflicts harm on another.
Biden reportedly said during recent debt ceiling negotiations that tea partiers acted like terrorists. He has denied making that comment. (RELATED: Obama won debt ceiling fight, says DNC)
Landry says he has also been called extremist and rebellious.
Those are some of the nice words theyve used, Landry said. You know theyve called us terrorists, trolls, hobbits. I mean, I dont understand why working towards and demanding a balanced budget be sent to the states is an extreme view.

Yes he does. The only Problem is that there are Not enough Republicans in the House or the Senate that have the Courage to stand up to this democrat tyranny, and the recent deal on the debt ceiling has proved that.

I said this back when the attacks first started . . . "Taliban tactics," "Hezbollah tactics," "terrorist tactics," "holding America hostage". . . WAIT A MINUTE . . . terrorists say things and take actions intended to "terrorize" innocent people.
It was the President who "terrorized" the elderly by threatening their Social Security payments. It was the President who "terrorized" our veterans and military families by threatening their pay. I has always been the left who have used veiled or not so veiled threats to engender fear in the electorate.
I'm glad to see Congressman Landry pushing back, but he needs to point out the efforts Democrats have made to frighten the voters as well.

The majority appear to be frightened little children. Afraid of the democrat monster in the white house. The bigger monster is the State Run Media, because they are covering for the monster in the white hut. That along with the publcik edumacated masses who are taught that the media is always telling the truth on the evening news.

Whatever the Democrat/Liberal/Progressives charge Conservative/Tea Party/Republicans with doing is what they themselves are doing. They accuse their opponents of what they themselves do.
Liberalism always achieves the exact opposite of its stated intent.

Gee, the congressman may be related to me. "Landry" is one of our family names.
It's French, St. Landry being one of the patron saints of that country (patron of hospitals, LOL). There's a St. Landry parish in Louisiana.
I'm not a "swamp people", either....just a corn-fed midwesterner born and bred.

The State run media is one big positive advertisement for Obummer. It is very hard to battle their influence on the naive public.
