Wow, big reply. The bottom line right now is the senate and pres aren’t going to pass conservative legislation. So, we need to change that. All your talk won’t change a thing. We need to change congress. All your talk is silly. We need to change the makeup of the congress, house and senate. Get more conservatives in, gain the majority and make it happen. We can’t do anything right now. All we can do is bargain.

I'm asking you, but this is open to anyone, is America so far gone that when the truth is told, and Obambi is exposed as the manipulator that he is, and the mountains of government waste is displayed for everyone to see, and the Republicans clearly explain how Cut, Cap, and Balance is the way to go, they will still choose the Marxist over the adults?

Mind you, for this to happen, the Republicans will have to invest in a major PR campaign to bypass the MSM. Will they do it? I doubt it, but I truly believe that public opinion will swing greatly to the side of the Constitution if a clear choice is presented, and you will never see it on the MSM.

Very enlightening

~~~~~~~~~~
“Today’s ruling class, from Boston to San Diego, was formed by an educational system that exposed them to the same ideas and gave them remarkably uniform guidance, as well as tastes and habits. These amount to a social canon of judgments about good and evil, complete with secular sacred history, sins (against minorities and the environment), and saints.
Using the right words and avoiding the wrong ones when referring to such matters — speaking the “in” language — serves as a badge of identity. Regardless of what business or profession they are in, their road up included government channels and government money because, as government has grown, its boundary with the rest of American life has become indistinct.
Many began their careers in government and leveraged their way into the private sector. Some, e.g., Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, never held a non-government job.
Hence whether formally in government, out of it, or halfway, America’s ruling class speaks the language and has the tastes, habits, and tools of bureaucrats. It rules uneasily over the majority of Americans not oriented to government.
The two classes have less in common culturally, dislike each other more, and embody ways of life more different from one another than did the 19th century’s Northerners and Southerners — nearly all of whom, as Lincoln reminded them, “prayed to the same God.”
By contrast, while most Americans pray to the God “who created and doth sustain us,” our ruling class prays to itself as “saviors of the planet” and improvers of humanity. Our classes’ clash is over “whose country” America is, over what way of life will prevail, over who is to defer to whom about what.
The gravity of such divisions points us, as it did Lincoln, to Mark’s Gospel: “if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
~~~~~~

Time for the Beltway Elites to go. Both sides have become Ruling Class co-conspirators, and they’re destroying this great nation.

TERM LIMITS!

Excellent.

And throw in some version of an Amendment denying pay to a Congress that doesn’t do JOB 1.

The “DOCK THEIR PAY” B.B.A.:

http://stumpedagain.wordpress.com/2011/03/30/the-budget-proposed-amendment-to-the-us-constitution/

“No member of the Congress nor members of their staffs shall receive any remuneration for any period of time for which no annual balanced budget has been approved by the Congress, and no retroactive remuneration shall be paid for any period in which no annual balanced budget shall have been passed. An “annual balanced budget” shall be defined as a 12 month plan in which authorized expenditures do not exceed revenues of the previous year by more than 1%.”

No compromise, no retreat, no surrender!!

You know, I don't feel you're coming to these negotiations willing to compromise. In fact, I believe you fail to understand how this process works. Let me be clear, I won't sign any spending cuts. Eat your peas. The middle class, who struggle every day to put food on the table, won't subsidize your corporate jet any longer. You need to pay your fair share. The top 1% needs to s sacrifice.

Raise taxes now, make the cuts in ten years. Trust me on this. Bush put the car in the ditch. Now you have to ride in the back. If you don't raise the debt ceiling I'll stop grandma's social security check and blame it on you. Shovel ready. We can't afford Bush's illegal wars, just a few kinetic military actions. America is a Muslim nation so get used to it.

It'd be easier if I could just do this without Congress. Bitter gun and Bible clingers. You just hate me because my middle name is Hussein. Racist. Let's talk about my Muslim faith. I mean my Christian faith. You know, Reverend Wright. On second thought, let's not. Wanna beer? You need one, you acted stupidly. Like the Supreme Court.

Has anyone seen my economic team? Christine? Austan? Larry? No, not Sinclair, Summers. Larry? Anyway, you've got to spend money to take money. I mean stimulate the economy. Or something. Green shoots. Which of the 58 states are you from anyway?

Fox News is biased. CNN is real journalism. Did I mention I'm black? Racist. Except the part of me that's not, from my typical white grandmother. She's racist too.

So anyway, It's time to pull up the mom jeans and get to golf, er, work. Wanna go to camp David? Don't call my bluff.

I think they will. That’s why we need a voice. Gov is out of control. Compare WI to Illinois or Minnesota. Salsa was an error.

Well, I hope the tea party doesn’t confine itself to taking over the Republican party. It oughta field candidates in ‘Rat primaries, too. Party means jack anymore, and the tea party would be increasing the chances of electing a conservative to office if it fields people in ‘Rat races..

The Republicans in Congress can do something very big ... just say no, no increase in the debt limit, no new taxes. The debt limit passed in 2010 is The Law. If no raise is vote for to enact a debt ceiling increase, the government will not default and the federal oligarchy will have to cut spending in order to remain solvent. So, yes you poor of spirtit thing, We The People can do something now. We can push our elected representatives to stop raising debt limits and start living within the means of the revenues. That of course will mean immediately cutting expenditures. If you cannot see the wisdom, get the hell out of the way. Don’t be part of the fear mongering designed to herd the people to their economic doom.

The left hates heroes. A hero demonstrates the importance of a single person making big things happen. A hero is an individual -- as opposed to a group, or a tribe, or a "people." A hero defies victimhood, undermining the left's entire world view.

There are big and great things that are publicly glorified as heroism. We can all be awed by mighty acts of courage and will that can move great forces in the world. Such people and such feats are important to history, and inspire us to live according to the best within us.

But in everybody's life there are countless choices, conflicts, and opportunities that require courage, integrity, a willingness to face hard truths, make difficult decisions that might have big consequences, and take action that you would rather not have to take.

Ronald Reagan saw the heroic in ordinary Americans. That is one of the things that I loved about him as a president, for everywhere he looked in America, he saw ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

— Dr. Joel Wade
