He's using the same language that Obama used to sell Obamacare to the public.
Hannity gave both Cantor and Boehner total softball interviews. Very disapointed.
Bottom line: 5B in cuts next year for a 1000B debt limit raise today.
First time I heard it... Ronald Reagan.
Yup. We’re the enemy. We’re the bad guys. Every dime of the budget is precious and necessary so we should just shut up and let them do their jobs - spend even more.
To get real work done, we need more republicans in congress and preferably the white house also.
Boehner’s right.
we can’t let “not really good” get in the way of best.
Was that when Ronald got bamboozled (his own opinion) over the 3$ in cuts for 1$ tax increase?
Who said the deal is good?
That was HW, not Reagan.
I guess the peas are back on Obama’s plate...
Hey,
I remember you from the budget fight. How are those Obamacare “hearings” going? Still think Boehner’s going to cut it? See your still in love with the speaker.
It not even not really good. His proposal keeps us going in the wrong direction. Can we NEVER take even a baby step in the RIGHT direction?
That pithy aphorism was used here to sell McCain.
I’ll wait to see the bill that actually gets signed before I get too PO’d. If Boehner and the Republicans cave and raise the debt ceiling without guaranteed cuts of equal or greater value, I will be furious.
Actually, it’s an old Russian saying....regardless, what I’d like to say to Boehner “Stop the F@ck trying to help, idiot RINO - we do not need you. Let our real conservatives go to work, STFU!”
No Reagan fell for it too.
0bama spends $4 Bn per day.
The US brings in between $175 and 200 Bn per month. Debt service is $26-29 Bn per month.
“We’re way beyond birthdays now.” (”Patriot Games”)
That cliche fits sometimes, but more often it is used to stop us from striving for the best.
I've stopped listening to Sean after years and years of loyal listening. He's become too enamored with his own projects which are laudable, but he's too oatmeal when interviewing backsliders. He's too insulated in his well-to-do Long Island life and uber perks to be meaningful to anything I want today and for the future.
