EXCLUSIVE: In the latest chapter of the gunrunning scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious, federal officials won't say how two suspects obtained more than 360 weapons despite criminal records that should have prevented them from buying even one gun.
Under current federal law, people with felony convictions are not permitted to buy weapons, and those with felony arrests are typically flagged while the FBI conducts a thorough background check.
However, according to court records reviewed by Fox News, two of the 20 defendants indicted in the Fast and Furious investigation have felony convictions and criminal backgrounds that experts say, at the very least, should have delayed them buying a single firearm. Instead, the duo bought dozens of guns on multiple occasions while federal officials watched on closed-circuit cameras.

The obvious answer is, the phebs told dealers to break the law. And the phebs were instructed to carry out this illegality by higher ups. How high up? ... Perhaps Issa and Grassley will find out. But don’t hold your breath expecting indictments of thuggery in this criminal administration.
Because the feds wanted felons to get guns.
“How high?” Try going to the top. This kind of thing couldn’t have gone on without the WH knowing about it.
Blame it on the morticians unions.....and lead miners too!
Actually that's not quite true. Under federal law, people with felony convictions are not permitted to buy weapons unless the President determines that his policy agenda can be expedited by allowing a weapons purchase by one or more felons.
In fact, such "Presidential determination" language is now added to every law in the U.S. Code when a Democrat occupies the White House.
The liberal media is not gonna cover this. It makes the dems look too bad, and we can’t have that.
Still wish there was one “reporter” in DC who would ask The Messiah how he came by a Connecticut social security issued number while living in Hawaii in 1977?
Just one. Obama’s “history” is a house of cards...it could come down at any time...can’t understand why Rush, Hannity, et al are so afraid of this issue.
This is a BFD, and the FBI being silent on it really shows how big it is.
Curiousier and Curiouser from the Bizzaro World Administration.
Does Barrack mean Bizzaro in Kenyan?

The felons lied on the 4473 (show’s how useless the form is), otherwise the dealer whould have to end the transaction since they would become felons otherwise.
The FBI controls the NICS system used for checking backgrounds on gun purchases. The bad guy was probbly working with the FBI and told to lie on the form. He fills out the form and when the NICS check is done, it comes back “clean” because the FBI was expecting it and manipulated the database.
As per Fast and Furious, these were known illegal straw purchases some of which were purchased by known felons, which is also illegal.
To get the authorization for the BATF to overrule the background checks and approve straw purchases of large volume gun sales to known felons with the intent of trafficking them across international borders to a country in the middle of a violent drug war would have required knowledge and the formal sign off of very high level people in the White house, the Dept of Justice Legal, BATF and FBI agencies.
It would have also needed the sign off of the Dept of Homeland Security and the State Department given that the intent of the program was traffic illegally sold arms across international borders and should have been coordinated with Mexico's Dept of State and Law Enforcement
Several American LEO's and over 150 Mexican LEOs, Politicians and civilians have been murdered with weapons provided by the Fast and Furious operation, some of which actually paid for by the US Government with Economic Stimulus money.
As VP Biden would say, this is indeed a "Big ****ing Deal"
BTTT
Very nicely laid out and exactly what I was driving at.
Just like Grassley got to the bottom of the firing of IG Walpin.....Oh.....wait.....
This is essentially on Issa with Grassley's support. Remember, Grassley is the "Ranking member" and really cannot do anything but whine and write letters that are ignored. The Senate will not delve very deeply into this mess as long as the committee is controlled by the Dems.
The Republican congress failed to hold Clinton accountable for his crimes, unless you count that joke of an impeachment.
The threat of racial unrest will keep Obama/Holder from facing any real punishment as well.
My theory of why Right Wing Talk Radio or TV will not venture into Obie’s CT SS#, his 1981 Pakistani trip, his first Executive Order sealing his records or Fast & Furious is that George Soros and the Left keep an army of mercenaries on call to “quash” this type of rhetoric, like it or not...ex-Mossad, CIA, Delta Force, KGB, etc.-types who have no loyalty to a nation-state, but merely to their employer.
Glenn Beck, IMHO, left Fox because of this and I think even the great Patriots like Rush and Hannity understand that Obama and the Democrats, whose politics mirror Mao, Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Castro, Ho Chi Minh and Kim Jong-il are 100% based on Marxist ideology and killing hundreds of millions via war, camps or starvation are all part of the gameplan.
These people do not play games, look at the Socialists-Marxists and what their end game is...Siberia and Concentration Camps....
Our Media FUNDAMENTALLY AGREES with Communism, and understands it must hide Obama and the Left’s (Hollywood, Soros, Democrats, Unions, Racial Grievance Groups, Greens, Feminists, Gays) real goals as people would revolt.
No one will talk about it as they may end up sleeping with the fishes.
