At his press conference a few minutes ago, Obama whined Boehner wouldn't return his phone call this afternoon.

Didn’t Bill Cosby endorse jello? Connection is made.

Personally, next time Boehner or Cantor gets a camera in their face I’d like to see something presented on 4th grader terms with plenty of scarcasm:
I mean, golf is more important that making a budget and putting DETAILED proposals on the table. And Obama has done plenty of detailing his proposals, certainly more details than rounds of golf. We should hammer the rich with more taxes, especially punish those who risk money and investments and hire people...that’s how you grow America. But alas, it is better to grow Amerika, the land of the ubiquitous union and upside down pyramid. The Republicans, who are trying to get America’s government to live with a budget like most sane households do, should be punished...I can see the logic of your argument...Spock would be proud. Cut (expenses, like bloated EPA, DOE, NEA, etc.), Cap (cap spending to 19% of GDP - much like you and me who work don’t spend more than we save!), and Balance (balanced budget)...yep, such stupidity! Punish the Republicans for not just allowing the US to spend more, raise the debt ceiling and make the $USD less valued around the world. Idiocy. I see your point.
Tell him, though, half-past never is open...
Thank you! Not surprisingly his voice mail is full...guess I’ll have to figure out the twitter thing...or maybe fax him?
I got something through on facebook.
After tonight’s talk, he’s not going to cave. We’ve told him what we want, he’s holding firm. This is the first time I’ve seen him grow a spine. And he didn’t cry. Keep supporting him, keep the calls and emails going. We need to support him now more than ever. No matter what you all think of him, he’s our guy. Keep it up. He needs us now more than ever! Keep your support going!
Thought I heard Boehner say *new revenues* also.
Clowns everywhere need to quit using the term *new revenues* and start calling a tax a tax.
Enough with the weasel words.
That had better NOT happen.
Go short term and then recess the House!
To hell with Fox News Polls.
Their idiot polls for candidates have just over 300 participants. What a joke!

Will Rush be back behind his golden mike on Monday?
Hope so! No deal before Boehner hears from Rush AGAIN!
excellant description!
they are unbelievable...
Its really hard to stay calm when someone is attacking you, setting you up and lying..”when did you stop beating your wife?’
Absolutely!
Yes, that was great at Boehner's presser when he laid out to them what Obama wanted and made it clear it would be tax increases.
50 CALLS! YOU’RE SUPER FABULOUS!
Oh...so true.
and when you are confident and powerful you don’t have to scream and throw a temper tantrum.
Pray for America is right!
Actually Boehner has already caved and he told us so himself. Boehner said there had been agreement for $800B in increased taxes and Boehner walked after the Prez wanted to add $400B more. There should be $0B in increased taxes because spending is the problem not taxes.
Terrific!!!
Yes. It is.
And it's shameful.
I agree. Plus he's been swearing all week that there was no deal. Remember last night's NYT's report, which he denied?
(NYT:) Obama and Boehner Close to Major Budget Deal, Congressional Leaders Are Told (WRONG!!!)
Boehner just admitted that there WAS a deal in the making that involved a $800 billion tax increase, which means that he was in fact selling us out, until Obama came back at Harry Reid's behest and demanded $400 billion more.
Sorry, but this just confirms my extreme distrust of the man.
