Tomorrow the Senate will hold the first hearing on The Respect for Marriage Act, which repeals the Defense of Marriage Act, thus granting to all lawfully married couplesincluding same-sex couplesto receive federal marriage benefits and protections if they are joined by a valid marriage in a state where such marriages are legal.
The president has long called for a legislative repeal of the so-called Defense of Marriage Act, which continues to have a real impact on the lives of real people --our families, friends and neighbors, White House press secretary Jay Carney said at todays press briefing.
He is proud to support the Respect for Marriage Act, introduced by Senator Feinstein and Congressman Nadler, which would take DOMA off the books once and for all," said Carney. "This legislation would uphold the principle that the federal government should not deny gay and lesbian couples the same rights and legal protections as straight couples.

How long before a troll like you gets the ZOT?
Interesting pics. Hmmmm
The instituion of marriage supports legislation to repeal President Obama, and it was here first.
Just one more thing to HATE this marxist F and his dem henchmen for.
HEY ya marxist turd, F you.
Come on folks enough if f-ing enough.
This mooselimb pile of crap is doing EVERYTHING to destroy America.
Also, this photo illustrates other themes I've communicated regarding the young Obama including the fact that I never saw him with a girl and that he was strikingly effeminent at the time. The larger point, of course, is that the picture of himself that he created in Dreams from My Father is very different from the real Obama that I knew during the 1980-1981 school year.http://anonymouspoliticalscientist.blogspot.com/2010/07/new-photo-of-young-obama-from.html
John C. Drew, Ph.D. is an award-winning political scientist.
Then of course, we have Wayne Madsen's report.

Excellent find. More sauce for the goose.
of course he does....... no one should be surprised.
Just goes to show the priorities of the two houses of Congress.
The House wants to balance the Federal budget. The Senate wants to celebrate sodomy.
What a great way to build bi-partisan support for deficit reduction legislation. (sarcasm)
I no longer believe these liberals want to promote an agenda. The way they are going about this and the other crap is designed to poke a stick in the eyes of conservatives. These people are enemies and need to be destroyed by any means necessary. It is not enough to defeat them on any set of issues - no, they must be destroyed.
Mark one more for the pervert-in-chief!
2012 please come soon!
What’s interesting is he’s doing all this crap now. His internals are tanking. This is the junk he’d be doing after the 2012 election. So, he’s advancing this crap now, why? He’s going to lose. They know they’re going to lose to a generic republican. LOL! So long loser, we won’t miss you.
Well I certainly hope this dumass move by Dick O’Muslim raises the national conscience to the deadly threat of AIDS propagated by homosexual behaviour: AIDS killed my younger brother, who was a ‘married’ homosexual. The AIDs he contracted from some other homosexual, pre-’marriage’.
Marriage is a holy sacrament between a man and a woman given by God.
Nothing the criminal marxist does or says will change that truth.
This is one of those moves that convinces me he is Evil incarnate.
Tells who he is!
Thank God for the 2010 elections. Can you imagine what havoc if we didn’t do what we did? It’s going to be a LONG 18 months to the 2012 election. I can’t stand this idiot. What a wet blanket.
