President Obama on Tuesday said he cannot guarantee that retirees will receive their Social Security checks August 3 if Democrats and Republicans in Washington do not reach an agreement on reducing the deficit in the coming weeks.
"I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven't resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it," Mr. Obama said in an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, according to excerpts released by CBS News.

I'm afraid so too. But it's possible that with the new media and with Rush and Levin and Steyn and VDH and Goldberg and others playing offensive coordinator and calling plays into key players like Rubio, that maybe, just maybe, the GOP QBs and recievers might actually convert this time?

They might not say that today but yesterday worried about SS cuts in an Obama deal they claimed this on almost EVERY MSNBC show from 5pm to 11 pm even LAST night,
If Republicans were worth a crap they would ask Obama (on TV dramically) why he isnt using the $2.5 Trillion dollar surplus instead of borrowing the money for SS payments, or instead of cutting off the checks. That is why I posted the above transcripts HERE!.

This statement by the President should scare the hell out of Democrats. What he is doing now is to ensure that Democrats don’t get re-elected to office, including himself.

In my wildest imagination would I EVER believe the President of the United States could stoop this low. I hope he pays for this stunt in 2012.
