The other consideration is fundraising. Overall, the GOP candidates raised less money this year than they did in 2007, which suggests there is still money to be had, but as the race keeps moving along, you've got the same problem as the staff problem mentioned above in which donors have begun to commit to other campaigns, especially if Perry jumps in, or Bachmann continues to soar in the polls (we'll get to see her fundraising numbers soon).
IF she jumps in - and I remain convinced she won't - she'll change the dynamic of the race, but I still think Romney is the odds on favourite (as of now) from a polling and money standpoint.
Take a lesson, sphinctimus grandé.

Cheers!
You don’t know what you are talking about! Reports from Iowa is that she has a massive grassroots groundgame already in Iowa - better than the announced campaigns.
No offense to Bachmann but Sarah will blow Bachmann out of the water once she announces, without even trying hard - Sarah already has a built-in base and name recognition (if the two of them were in two separate rooms in the same building and people had only one choice to see one of them, you know who they would choose!)
Rush said it best - if Sarah runs, she will be the one to beat immediately
“She’s been saying this for a while. If she really believed it, I think she would in the race by now. The longer she waits the harder it is going to be to staff up in Iowa, New Hampshire, S. Carolina, etc. with people who know the state and have run campaigns before.”
You are absolutely right, to get her ground game up to snuff and running, why it might even take her all of two days, instead of one. s/
There is no worry about her organization in the early states. Those who are lying, stop. Those who are worried, be assured.
you are funny.
She has so many people just waiting for her to get up there and lead, she won't have any trouble.
She can have volunteers on the ground in a heartbeat. The longer she waits the less chance the press has at her. I think she should wait as long as possible before declaring.
Are you on Romney’s staff, Sic Parvis?
