Not really. The jury was never shown Casey’s “bloody hands”. You must have that in a 1st degree trial.

I served on a 1st degree jury. They are very explicit about the “bloody hands” rule. The evidence must show the perp did it. There wasn’t that much evidence linking Casey to the crime that the jury could see/

They are saying that Casey’s parents were stonefaced when the verdict was read. And they just got up and left afterward. I wonder if Casey will go back to live at home or if her parents will finally lock her out and out of their lives. She deserves to roam the streets and meet up with an “accident.”

I’m guessing that the jury all had instances in their life where they wanted to murder their kids and probably felt sorry for Casey.....what else could it be?

From what I saw there was plenty of evidence that she was a terrible mother, Hell probably a terrible person, and a liar to boot, but the evidence of her being a murderer was pretty flimsy.

For what’s it’s worth I think she did it also, but I don’t think they PROVED that she did it, certainly not beyond a reasonable doubt.
