In the concluding segment, the "Real Time" host actually said of Bristol, "The s--t doesn't fall far from the bat" (video follows with transcript and commentary, vulgarity warning):

I post items like this because I think they are reflective of how the media goes after people they fear or don’t agree with. To me, it is relevant because what we have seen in the relentless attacks against Sarah, George Allen and others. This is just the beginning and what they will do to the eventual republican candidate who opposes Obama will be tenfold with respect to what we are seeing now.

Maher was born in New York City, the son of Julie (née Berman), a nurse, and William Maher, Sr., a network news editor and radio announcer. He was raised in his Irish American father’s Catholic religion, remaining unaware that his mother was Jewish until his early teenage years. He subsequently has self-identified as ethnically half-Jewish. Maher’s family stopped attending church services when Maher was thirteen, due to his father’s disagreement with the Catholic Church’s position on birth control.

Maher was raised in River Vale, New Jersey, and graduated from Pascack Hills High School in Montvale in 1974. He received a B.A. in English and history from Cornell University in 1978.

Nice work. Nobody has Maher’s number like the mighty Gagdad. OC is my favorite blog.

They didn't want another after him.

Actually, his degrees are in SCATOLOGY!

This ever classy, waste of otherwise valuable protoplasm and pathetic excuse for a life form is seen here whacked out on a large quantity of booze and/or exotic chemicals in his Halloween, 2007 STEVE IRWIN get-up! Bill Maher: Giving SCHMUCKS and MORONS a bad name for 20 years!!

I can't help but see him as a poster boy for all liberals. I know that's how they think and that it is what's in their hearts.

What is in their hearts, that is the key.
Bristol has some challenges in her life, as many people do.
Bill Maher is making money feeding the hate that liberals feel for the Sarah by the obscene attacks on her daughter.
But the unmitigated hatred of some of our fellow citizens for another citizen with an opposing view is beyond visceral, it's demonic.
We went passed spirited citizenship a long time ago.

So, the answer is, to stop living and duck right? No, the answer is to cut off the vile pieces of trash; which isn’t being done.

The answer is to punish those that are nothing but filth. I don’t agree with Bristol Palin’s decision at all but it is her decision and she is not the one spewing filth and hatred.

Maher doesn’t just target the Palins, although that is his obsession lately, he targets everything decent and honorable as well. Mockng, ridiculing etc.

It’s not the Palins that are the problem; it’s Maher.

Bill Maher says almost nothing of value, and a great deal that is offensive, stupid, illogical and totally false.

This clearly falls in the “great deal” category.

Apparently Mr. Maher plays some sort of game that involves fecal matter and a baseball bat?

I consider anyone who subscribes and shovels money into the dark, fetid bank vaults of the amoral HBO executives to be an apostate conservative.

It's below stupidity and all reason.

Why feed the hand that bites you???

You got that right! bttt

"Revolutions have as their function the destruction of the illusions that cause them." For example, the real Obama has destroyed the illusion that was embodied in "Obama '08." He is a political suicide, as it were -- but unfortunately, he is taking a lot of people down with him. ........

So our dispute -- the "culture war" -- is not just about politics or values, but is ultimately rooted in competing visions of reality. It is actually an "ontology war," which, in the Judeo-Christian arc of history, has been going on since "the beginning." ~ Gagdad Bob

Y’know, that’s another reason that I love Sarah Palin! In a time when even the brightest conservatives seem to fall for losers, Ann Coulter for the goofy cad Bill Maher, and Laura Ingraham for the sleazy con man Bob Toricelli, Sarah, even at a very young age, chose a decent, independent man of honor, Todd Palin, to be her husband.

I’m thinking that maybe that’s why Coulter and Ingraham are dismissive if Sarah-—her good judgment embarrasses them! Bob

he is a sad, little, pathetic looking and sounding excuse for a man. He is not funny. He says the filth he says and then waits for a laugh which he gets by the way. Anyway, I think he needs go go seek counseling. There is something deep inside him that allows him to be so bitter and ugly as you said... “inside and out.” I agree. He gets his jollies from attacking everyone including women. I LOVE the photo of Bristol and her little boy together. It exudes love. maher???/ he exudes some deep troubles. He is to be pitied...he truly is. He has no way go from here...not even up because he is down way, way too low to ever come back to civility, humanity, manners and a clean mouth.
