Tonight, around 11 p.m., a group of at least 60-70 African American youth marched down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan). They were yelling threats to white residents. Things such as we need to kill alll the white people around here.

In a perfect world all citizens would have unfettered access to such things.
Unfortunately, an AK, AR or some other magazine fed “scary black rifle” are about the best one can hope to have in hand when facing down a pack of animals.
Still, for someone who has practiced multiple target engagement, a semi-auto can be a devastating self defense tool under such circumstances.

Thank you, that's just what I need.
Now I have to print copies, find my laminator and get the cards out to my family.

I think that the latest rounds of racial assaults by blacks are organized.Consider twitter and cell phone usage:
63% of Twitter users are less than 35 years old. 60% Twitterers, are Caucasian, but a higher than average (compared to other Internet properties) are African American (16%) and Hispanic (11%).
You may be on to something, Sheik.

It’s as if the GOP have seen the movie already, know how it ends, and figure they might as well enjoy the parties and the bennies while they are “serving”. Every once in a while they say something for public consumption, usually around fundraising time, you you know their heart ain’t in it. #nopassion #nospine

Seems like every day Drudge (and sometimes that site alone) has a new headline about another flash mob, usually in major cities. These things definitely seem organized. At some point will the federal government claim they need to have some control over the net because of events like this?
Lately there seems to be a spike in the number of black on white assaults too. If this becomes more frequent or widespread how long before people finally demand some action? Still going to be a long time, IMO.

Well, where is the video? A whole neighborhood full of iphones, and no video?

I expect that Rush and the other so-called “conservative” yappers will be silent about this tomorrow. That’s my bet.

Speaking of irony, this rosy portrait exists just a bit further down the same cached page from the account of the marauding savages:
According to MSN Real Estate, Peoria is one of the ten best places for starting over; i.e., Peoria is one of 10 midsize to large cities with the best job prospects and most affordable mortgage payments. The list is: . . .
I was born in the far southern part of the state, in a place south of Richmond in both latitude and attitude.
Episodes like the above, combined with the marxist pretender in the WhiteHut, remind me to cling to the old adage that 'there's Chicago, and there's Illinois', lest I be ashamed to admit it.

I am sure that Hussein Obama, Eric Holder, and the State-run media will be all over this tomorrow AM.

Let a group of at least 60-70 White American youth march down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan)and yelling threats to black residents such as we need to kill all the black people around here.
What would be the immediate reaction of Obama, Holder, Lame Stream Media, politicians, etc?
We all know the answer!!

I’m not dismissing use of deadly force, but what lesser
measures are there. ISTR hearing about water hoses way
back when. Selma, for instance.

Obama is merely the stink in the room. The source of the malodor is the moral, ethical, and spiritual gangrene that is rotting away in the soul of America's institutions.
We have a resident in the White House who has posted TWO FORGERIES and is a likely usurper and identity thief with multiple Social Security numbers but our morally corrupt institutions are unable to respond. Not even one judge, legislator, governor, secretary of state, state attorney general, electoral college member, or highest military officer has the courage to respond. Our media are silent.
It is the corruption of our institutions that is the real gangrene here. Obama is just the smell.
By the way, of all the institutions, our conservative media and our very highest military were the most heartbreaking. As for the military, is there any record of our highest military seeking lawful, peaceful, and certifiable clarification of Obama eligibility from congress or the courts? When did supporting and upholding identity theft, forgeries, usurpation, lying, and election fraud become part of the military code of honor? I am amazed that when these highest military return the salutes of our brave and honorable service men and women that they aren't struck on the spot by lightning.

There may be many Less than Lethal options, but citizens rarely have ready access to such things.
I know I can’t fire up the high pressure water hose on a moment’s notice, or hose down a crowd of 50 plus people with pepper spray. I’m simply not equipped to deal with such a situation and I doubt one in 5000 citizens is.
The closest I could come to sub lethal crowd control on the quick is bird shot fired low so it scatters off the pavement and into legs.

I don’t think that suggesting that safety concerned citizens start organizing militias and neighborhood patrols would be too much to ask.

I think I misremembered and it was Stevers Addition. On google, you can see a small set of 4 squares platted along Farmington road (I think it is the North side?). It was just a mile and some beyond Laura Bradley Park, going out of town. The identifying landmark I recall was a Pig ‘N’ Whistle along Farmington that sort of anchored the neighborhood, which was behind and to both sides of the restaurant. There was a truck weigh station there, too, a bit further up the road. We would wait there for the school bus. I remember a gas station, too, next to the weigh station, or perhaps it was the same place. They also sold bread and perhaps other things.
The creek had a bridge, right? It was almost right after the bridge, on the right, coming down the big hill from town. So, it was before the hill if you were headed toward town.
I remember Mr. Stafford when he delivered the milk with a horse-drawn truck. I think the truck was brown and cream. He was a nice man who always gave us hunks of very clear ice in the summer. We also had an ice box for a time after the war. He would deliver the ice for that, as well. Refrigerators were hard to get for awhile.
We lived there from when I was 4 until I was 10 or so, 1947-1953....that is all I recall.
