One of the hallmarks of the Arab Spring has been the emergence of a new and more modest American foreign policy. The Obama administration has insisted on not taking the lead in promoting democratic change; it has declined to act unless not just the French and British but the Arab League go first. It still cant bring itself to say that Bashar al-Assad, a dictator and implacable U.S. enemy who is using tanks and helicopter gunships to slaughter his people, is not qualified to lead Syria to democracy.
Yet there is one big exception: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. On a Middle Eastern front that has remained mostly quiet in 2011, the position of the United States is: a) it possesses a detailed solution; b) action must be taken immediately; and c) it doesnt matter whether the people concerned Israelis and Palestinians are agreeable or ready.
Obama the timid suddenly turns tough when the peace process comes up. He has spoken in public on Syria just twice since its massacres began three months ago. But he chose to spell out U.S. terms for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations without the agreement of Israels prime minister, on the eve of meeting him at the White House and with only a few hours notice arguably the most high-handed presidential act in U.S.-Israeli relations since the Eisenhower administration.

Ummmmmmmmm ... he hates the Jews?
This is a wild guess but could it be Obama isn’t Jewish, he is a MUSLIM.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
..................
Obviously he has issues with Israel, Assad on the other hand is a pretty nice guy. He's a progressive, and knows how to keep the opposition in line.
I hope this question is rhetorical. Otherwise really? You have to ask?
It reminds me of President George W. Bush’s expression: “The soft bigotry of low expectations.”
Perhaps he (and others) really have low expectations of Arab muslim leaders’ conduct because deep inside they really don’t think those leaders are smart enough and mature enough to do any better.
They know Israel has grown-ups in charge, so they expect them to act better and get mad if/when they fall short.
Same with the Catholic Church. It gets held to a higher standard than other institutions because people expect smart grown-ups to be in charge, so they get disappointed if they don’t measure up. If the imams of Iran act wrongly, no one expected any different.
BINGO! We have a winner. (And Barry isn’t making a lot of points with other Muslims, either.)
Punish success, punish good, reward failure, reward evil. Why is anyone surprised that this administration’s foreign policy is the same as the domestic policy?
Obama needs to keep his arab street creds up to date
Plus he hates Zionist
Because names mean something and his is, by choice, Barack Hussein Obama.
Because throwing our allies under the bus while coddling enemies is ops normal for democrats.
Obama isn't a Democrat, he's a plant using the Demo Party to do serious damage to the country.
Why is Obama giving $Billions to Egypt when it's obvious the Muslim Brotherhood is going to gain power there.
Why is Obama using the US Military to help Rebels who are known Al Qaeda take over Libya?
Why did Obama demand Israel to withdraw to pre-1967 borders when even a total idiot would know that would result in the slaughter of Jews by Muslims?
Obama's foreign policy seems to be exactly, exactly what a radical Muslim would do if he was placed in the White House by a SCAM.
Is Obama a Manchurian candidate? If it looks like a duck it must be a Muslim playing POTUS. Add in FAST AND FURIOUS and you have all the makings of a turkey shoot when Impeachment starts.
Christians love Isreal - that’s enough to make the left hate them. Plain and simple.
Because Obama is a muzzie?
He’s a jihad critter..
Thanks SJackson.
He’s a Muslim.
I’ll take Muslim presidents for $500 Alex.
