Half of American families including a growing portion of the countrys middle-class would not be able to cope with an unexpected expense that required them to come up with $2,000 within 30 days according to a study that illustrates both the fragile nature of family finances and the depth of the nations financial crisis.

The half that can is comprised mostly of government employees and retirees. That’s also the half that will fall with the default.

For those of us who had to come up with $2,000 for a home fix recently, we didnt vote for that hope and change crap but we are suffering from those who did. And, were suffering/paying for those who allowed all this spending for social programs our government deemed necessary for last 70 years or so.
I understand and apologize if I gave the impression that I was referring to you instead of just to those who put this illegal alien in the oval office.

You are so welcome, but it wasn’t a serious post.
These days I can barely remember my name, much less keep things like S’s and C’s, verbs and nouns straight, but I appreciate your effort to educate me.
In truth, I don’t know what the importance of scraping together $2000 has to do with anything. Most of us normal folks can think of times we had trouble scraping together $200.
If getting away from debt doesn’t help, try making more. Be like our government.
Don’t get a headache.
