I just read this a.m. that the good folk of Queens were cheering him as he strolled around (hopefully in a non-tumescent state, but maybe his Viagra hadn’t worn off and all the chicks loved seeing his dirty undies with their pathetic bulge).

Mark my words, he’s a hero to the Dems and he won’t quit or be removed. He may be redistricted out, but I wouldn’t even count on that.

Rangel is still representing New York in Congress; his constituency gave him an overwhelming mandate to continue service after strong evidence of various types of money fraud. If NY9 survives, then it is likely that Weiner will get a similar electoral nod.

He won't resign and if he loses the election in 2012 he will sue all the way up to the supreme court. He is the quintessential democrat and a poster boy for what's wrong for Washington.
