The mainstream media and their fellow moonbats are in a frenzy today, counting the minutes until the 1 p.m. EDT official release of 24,199 pages of Gov. Palin e-mails.

The Washington Post has set up a Twitter account for the e-mails, PalinEmails.

As noted yesterday, The Washington Post and The New York Times are recruiting help from their readers in reviewing the e-mails for dirt on Palin.

The Los Angeles Times is also setting up a database for the e-mails, which have to be scanned as they are only being released in paper form.

Reporters from the U.S. and around the world are in Juneau awaiting the release.

The Guardian has a live thread by a reporter in Juneau.

I’m sure that GOv Palin as a indexed searchable database of all those emails and will fact check each email The first fake email form the libs will cause them to issue retractions and smear the media as making stuff up....This is a bear trap for the media. She is daring them to report false stuff. And if there isn’t anything to report than 24,000 emails of no issues will mean Gov Palin can run on being the most vetted candidate in the history of the world against the least vetted candidate.

the media has fallen into a trap of their own making because they believed the narrative they have pushed....

"..... release of 24,199 pages....."

If this picture is supposed to depict the 24,199 pages of Palin's e-mails and if my memory hasn't failed me there are 10 reams of 8 1/2 in a box. 500 sheets to a ream so 10 x 500 = 5,000 sheets per box. I can visually see 17 boxes so that comes out to 85,000 sheets of paper.

They wouldn't put this picture out to make it so people think this is what 24,199 pages look like this would they? Naw! the media never lies.

all companies and governments keep at least 5 years of email records. It is required by law.

Just be leary of any document that shows up as a fax-via-email from a Kinko's in central Texas.

I thought that might be the case. Thank you.,

Occurs that thiis knife can cut both ways. How about Tony Weiner give up all his e-mails? There is, after all, probable cause to believe that non-governmental business may have been conducted on government computers.

Nancy Pelosi seems to think so.

http://documents.latimes.com/sarah-palin-emails/ Already has one email up. It's a request by a Christian group for her to appear at a dedication. The response is generic, "Thank you for writing . . ." It's going to be a long day for those looking for dirt.

MSNBC's Michael Isikoff is going through the email stash and on the cable channel he shows a page with most of the details redacted.

The list of redactions alone runs to 189 pages – which suggests a lot of the good stuff is being kept under wraps.

LOL! They've been punkd.

You make a good point. I’ve voted Republican exclusively my entire life, never once deviating from that path. But the GOP’s combined demonstrations of not only ‘not supporting’ Palin against wildly unfair media attacks, but also their outright backstabbing of her, has so totally alienated me from the GOP, I doubt I even have the words to fully describe it.

yeap.....this is a trap for the media and they walked right inot it. what the 24,000 emails will show is a hard workign govenor in command of the issues and a caring loving mother and wife. After goign through 24,000 emails a clear picture of Gov Palin will form of a didicated GOV working her butt off for the good people of AK...

“I am thinking of calling IL to get Obama’s emails from when he was in office.....any one have any idea why the FOIA wouldn’t pertain to those also? What am I missing?”

These are being released under an Alaska state law that makes them public record. They were requested shortly after she was named VP candidate. It has taken this long for the state to comply. (I don’t know what federal or state requirements there are for Illinois State Senators or US Senators.)

gang-rape of Palin

Make it "MEDIA gang-rape of Palin" and plaster this phrase all over the Internet. Excellent description of the media's actions.
