Will vote for Palin, Cain or Bachmann(depending on how she responds to the mind blowing idiocy of her campaign manager’s attack on Sarah). Will have to think long and hard about Santorum or Pawlenty before I can say.

Only if the true results are wanted. The way CBS does it is suspect. Pick a number that fits your conclusion. (Falsify your numbers if you have to.)

Republicans are split on opinions of Palin overall: Thirty-seven percent have a favorable view, 36 percent have an unfavorable view, and 25 percent have no opinion.

What is “president”? I thought it was “President”...

IIRC, if it refers to a particular president by name, or spells out the full title, President of the United States, it is capitalized. Not so with running for president, or "the president said...".
