That's why this story won't die. He's trying to compartmentalize the problem and contain it, but there whole thing leaks like a sieve.

In this day and age, there's too much evidence that's created any time you use an electronic device, and too many ways to spread information about wrongdoing. All Weiner has done is seal off parts of the Titanic, but the hull is compromised. He'll sink slower, but he's still going down.

The media will breathlessly report tonight how he stood in front of the cameras and 'took full responsibility,' and that becomes the template: Responsibility without consequences (for dems). He won't step down; he'll ratchet up the rhetoric. By the next election, his dumbass constituents will be lauding his courage and honesty for having stood up in front of the microphones and 'taken responsibility.'
