The Tea Party will support whoever wins the GOP presidential nomination - - even if that person is former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. That's the affirmative word from Tea Party Express chair Amy Kremer.

I agree. Preferable Palin, but, as always, Anyone but Obama.
I agree. Preferably Palin, but, as always, Anyone but Obama.
I agree with both of you.
This far ahead of the election, heck the 2012 election cycle shouldn’t even have started yet.
The Tea Party Movement is supposed to be non partisan, and here she is stumping for the GOP, “endorsing” Romney if he is the nominee, who can NOT beat Obama.
The only candidate that can beat Obama in 2012 is a 100% Constitutional Republic Conservative...no wavering what so ever.
Plus there is a good chance that Romney may go the way of Gingrich and Trump, road kill.
I will not vote for Romney.
When a semi-conservative gets in office, they capitulate to the hard nosed, dirty trick lying democrats, always giving in.
Palin is right, if we don't get a good conservative nominee from the GOP, relegate THEM to 3rd party status!
msm is the greatest enemy. Not the dims. They’re controlling the narrative. Until they’re dealt with nothing else will change.
I really think we are getting to the point where money is not as important in elections as it once was. The Internet is changing politics much like it has changed everything else. Remember, Mitt spent quite a bit last race and couldn’t even beat McCain or Huckabee.
Personally? I blow off all the political ads, posters, and phone calls. I won’t even answer my phone unless I know whose calling, and I get virtually all my news online. No amount of money is going to overcome Internet buzz, and Palin has plenty of that. Have no doubt. Traditional media is dying and so is traditional campaigning.
I voted for Palin. It was the last time I will vote for a GOP nominee that does not fit the bill, even if G-d Himself were the running mate. If we’re going to Hell as a country, it might as well be under a democrat.
It’s fairly transparent, isn’t it?
It’s fairly transparent, isn’t it?
Yup. Just another sad, increasingly desperate CDS sufferer.
That’s okay. I understand where you’re coming from, and if that’s your take on it, I’m not going to give you grief over it.
You’re talking to a guy that has taken a pass on Republican candidates twice in the last four presidential elections. Holding my nose has become so commonplace, I spend life with my hand poised over it most of the time, just in case.
If we get a candidate that won’t enforce our borders, won’t be careful to avoid globalist entanglements, won’t explain in fine detail why some of our political figures don’t deserve to return to Washington, it may become so evident that the fix is in, that it won’t be worth my voting for them anyway.
Romney could certainly convince me by November 2012, that is exactly what he would be. He’s not the only one either. Frankly, I think he’s a fraud trying to convince folks he’s the Conservative’s best friend. He is nothing of the kind.
The thought of a man that hates the U.S. and wants to relegate it to the ash heap of history, spending four more years at the helm, causes me grave concerns.
I shudder to think about the Middle-East and what Israel’s fate will be after five and a half more years of Obama rule, let alone our own fate.
I’ll be very surprised if this isn’t another general election where you and I don’t even get to vote before our party’s nominee is a near certainty again.
Here’s to hoping we get a nominee we both can stand behind with pleasure.
This woman doesn’t speak for me. I’m sorry I can’t and won’t vote for Mitt Romney, not because I have something against the guy, I don’t, its because to me he is just like Obama, he is the White Obama, with an R next to his name. I don’t see ANY difference between the both of them. I’m not one of those “Either Sarah Palin or no one” kind of person so I don’t want to be accused of that, but if Mitt Romney gets the nomination(And we all know that is what the GOP Elitist/progressive Republicans want) I just can’t vote for him, yeah yeah I’ve already heard the “If you don’t vote your guaranteeing 4 more years for Obama” well guess what, if Romney gets the nomination Obama wins anyway so why throw out my principals for no reason. I already held my nose in 2008 when I voted for McCain(ONLY voted for him because of Sarah Palin) I won’t do it again..if the GOP wants to destroy this country by nominating a progressive, we will all have to suffer the consequences because of it. Remember what Krauthammer said, its HIS turn(meaning Romney) to get the nomination, its just like Glenn Beck said over a year ago on his show, progressives took over the Democrat party and they are now trying to take over the GOP..who the hell will we be left with
You ain't the Lone Ranger JimRob!!
This idiot has damaged the brand of no brand pure conservatism.
A Rino is a Rino is a Rino.
The Tea Party Movement has always worked outside the democrat and republican parties.
It's the GOP and the dems responsibility to take on Tea Party principles and incorporate them into their candidates/parties in order to be accepted by the millions of the tea party grassroots people out there.
This kind of talk is way outside the parameters of the TPM.
It looks like this is a in-your-face-we-don't-want-Palin missive.
Indeed. And Karl Rove made the apparent with his petulant outburst regarding Christine O’Donnell.
I said that Mitt has more than money, he has the GOP establishment and the media behind him, not just pushing him, but attempting to permanently knee cap his challengers and end their careers forever if it is a conservative republican, they will sacrifice 2012 if they need to.
Sounds like Amy doesn’t quite grasp what the tea party is all about. Sounds more like she’s just another opportunistic Republican, er, RINO!
It sure sounds like that!
Uhh... No.
