The Tea Party will support whoever wins the GOP presidential nomination - - even if that person is former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. That's the affirmative word from Tea Party Express chair Amy Kremer.

I have never heard of this woman but I would bet a dime to a dollar that if someone digs deep enough she has connections to the Democrats.
Just look at the "Tea Party" candidate in last weeks New York election or the one down in Florida (I think) last year. They were actually Democrats paid to disrupt the elections.
The unholy Dems will do ANYTHING to win; anything to get, keep, and increase their power over us and enrich themselves. As a whole, they are sociopaths, maybe even psychopathic.
When we are this far out from event the first primaries or caucuses the discussion should not be "OK, we'll support RINOs or moderates because they are at least better than Obama."
Really, the discussion should be: Who is the best constitutional conservative that tea partiers should get behind and help propel them to win the GOP nomination.
No point talking about what we're willing to "settle" for. It's the same issue we always used to use to criticize those who called for a timetable for withdrawal from either Iraq or Afghanistan. You don't start the debate by saying how much you'll compromise for. You fight for what you want, and then if you're forced to settle for less you deal with that at the time you can't do any better.
I can say this Amy chick like being controversial. She had the Mark Williams guy in her organization that was forced to step down because he was a bit too mean and angry and had a controversy. Other tea party groups disliked Amy. She seems to put her nose into everything and acts like her group is above the rest. So I knew about the infighting back in late 09 within the Tea party movement. And now this. We hear don’t agree with her so she’ll have hear it when others won’t agree with her. She want Obama out no matter what, but she don’t get it that Romney would be the same crap as Obama.
Her views certainly don't reflect mine.
Right now we should be working to help the best consitutional conservative who represents tea party ideals win the GOP nomination.
The only Romney is going to make it to the White House is as a tourist.I can see the Republican Party nominating him though. What he will do is give obama 4 more years. Myself and a lot of people I have talked with, people who held their nose and voted for Mc Cain, will not vote for Romney. If the Republicn Party and those on this forum continue to push and promote him, four more years of obama is what they are going to get. If that what they want, o.k.
Agreed with your basic point. It is too far out to be talking about Romney or any other republican being any sort of foregone winner of the nomination. The tea party people should keep advocating for their issues.
I am just responding to those who would allow Obama four more years of destruction, rather than vote for Romney in a general election.

Myself and a lot of people I have talked with, people who held their nose and voted for Mc Cain, will not vote for Romney. In fact, Free Republic’s founder, Jim Robinson does not support him, his candidacy, nor what he stands for. I will not vote for Romney, in the primary or the general. What’s the point? I really see very little difference between Romney and Obama. The growth of government may actually be slower under Obama, as a GOP Congress will pretend to be conservative with Obama in the White House. With a Romney in there, they’ll give him everything he wants. Didn’t this fool Romney just come out and say the world is getting warmer, and humans are causing that? Do you think President Romney will reign in the EPA?
Let's just hope we don't have to get to the point where that is the choice before us.
I've not made up my mind who I am supporting for President, nor has the organization that I work for (The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama) made a decision.
But so far I admire these potential candidates or declared candidates: Gov. Sarah Palin, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain.
Include me in that.. I am fiercely opposed to Romney...he'll just finish the job Obama's started with obamacare and carbon tax...and you can be sure abortion will be granted a favorable place..... but he'll put a a different colored ribbon on it.... but it will be the same package.
Kremer just playe into the democrate hands...unlike Palin who said the GoP has to shape up and get a clue what the people want.
Kremer does not speak for the Tea Party...she got baited and this interview is the result. She needed to keep her yap shut....she does not speak for me...nor does any particilar tea party spokesman.
The Romney supporters are subtle. One told me the other day that Romney was against gun control and abortion also socialized medicine and furthermore, he had never supported those issues. The truth is something that they do not recognize and when presented with the facts, theu ignore them and continue on.
Amen caww!

I would deal with Obama over Romney any day.....Obama is a wolf and doesn’t wear a sheeps mask very well...though he tries at times....Romney has his sheep mask on tight and groomed by his handlers.....don’t fall for it...
So yes, I will go third party over voting for Romney even if it means Obama gets another 4 yrs. At least we know he’s a wolf....and how to fight him..Romney will be flip flopping like a fish out of water....a moving target.
I just e-mailed....Kremer just split the Tea Party by her statement on the Gop Candidate....she needs to go. She does not speak for the tea party people.
Either way... millions of us will not vote for another marxist republicrat again. Quit trying to change that reality... you should be putting that energy into doing the right thing... forcing the republican party to embrace Reaganism and to cast off its servitude to socialism.

This Tea Party Express article combined with the Foxnews article about Barbour and the RNC Chair warning conservatives not to impose “purity tests” are very telling. The GOP has already chosen Romney and are trying to get everyone to take a bite of the s**t sandwich. Ain’t gonna happen.....
That is what I have been saying. He wil be the 2012 John Mc Cain. And the end results of the Romney vs. obama will be the same as the Mc Cain vs. obama were.
I think all you need to do, in order to see what a Romney presidency would be like, is go back to 2008. Where would be right now, if McCain beat Obama? Right where we are now. We would have a full-blown Amnesty for the illegals, and totally open borders, as if we don’t already. We would not have Obamacare, but we very well could have McCaincare. While it wouldn’t be the dramatic government takeover that Obamacare is, whatever smaller steps McCain took to take over healthcare would be harder to overturn. We would probably have the same over-regulation by the executive branch, particularly the EPA. We would have huge deficits. Maybe not quite as big as the Obama deficits.... but what’s the difference if you owe 14 trillion or 12 trillion?
Romney believes in government. He does not believe in you, the private citizen. In fact, the only thing Romney thinks is wrong with the Federal government at the moment is that it’s not being administred efficiently.
