The Tea Party will support whoever wins the GOP presidential nomination - - even if that person is former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. That's the affirmative word from Tea Party Express chair Amy Kremer.

“Im thinking Fox News may have misrepresented this. They have an 18-second video clip and Amy doesnt say the things she does as the article says.”
Did you watch the actual interview on FOX? Were you asleep at the time? Were you cleaning earwax out of both ears with a q-tip at the time? Were you watching only MSM news? Was your TV on?
I ask these questions because I did watch the interview as it happened and everything Fox News represented was absolutely TRUE!
On the other hand, maybe I was simply dreaming that I was watching Fox. You think so?
What happened yesterday was the single most alarming event that I have ever witnessed when it comes to politics. The hijacking of a conservative movement right in front of our eyes!

Amy Kremer is full of ... (rhymes with Mitt).
If SHE represents the Tea Party, it too is finished.
MITT ROMNEY ABUSER OF SEAMUS
"But the details of the event are more than unseemly - they may, in fact, be illegal. Massachusetts's animal cruelty laws specifically prohibit anyone from carrying an animal "in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the animal carried thereon. "An officer for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals responded to a description of the situation saying "it's definitely something I'd want to check out." The officer, Nadia Branca, declined to give a definitive opinion on whether Romney broke the law but did note that it's against state law to have a dog in an open bed of a pick-up truck, and "if the dog was being carried in a way that endangers it, that would be illegal."
"Dog on Roof? What Was It Like for Romney's Pooch? - Scientists Say Dog Likely Experienced Wind-Whipped, Uncomfortable Trip - "Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family's hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon's roof rack. e'd built a windshield for the carrier, to make the ride more comfortable for the dog,".. Jordan Kaplan, the owner of Petaholics, a dog walking service in New York City, and a lifelong dog owner and dog lover, said Romney's actions were uncalled for"
"Romney's dog - This is a distinction Mitt Romney probably could do without, but he is surely the first presidential candidate to be attacked for putting a dog with diarrhea in a carrier and tying it to the top of a station wagon. Romney's defense: Seamus liked it. [like the citizens under Romney's RomneyCARE, etc.?] "
"As the oldest son, Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon, keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble. ''Dad!'' he yelled. ''Gross!'' A brown liquid was dripping down the back window, payback from an Irish setter who'd been riding on the roof in the wind for hours. As the rest of the boys joined in the howls of disgust, Romney coolly pulled off the highway and into a service station. There, he borrowed a hose, washed down Seamus and the car, then hopped back onto the highway."
"Story about dog on car roof comes back to bite Romney - 200 comments from readers complaining of animal cruelty"
Romney's bad behavior Exposed by Seamus "Romney Loses Nomination Over Dog Abuse? - Romney was traveling that summer with his wife, five sons, and Seamus to his parent's cottage on Lake Huron. But hours into the ride, Seamus apparently suffered diarrhea, which ran down the back window of the car. .David Kravitz wrote on BlueMassGroup, a liberal blog. "It also strikes me as classic Romney: it solves a problem efficiently, in a business-like manner, and with no regard whatsoever for the suffering that the solution may cause." |

As a member of the Tea party, I have no card, I have never registered, I don’t pay dues,I have never been to an actual meeting where anything was discusesed.
I show up for rallies, I love America, I believe in the things we tea partiers believe in.
I accept no one who claims to lead the Tea party and I d not accept what Amy Whatsername says as speaking for me in any way.
She can vote for Romney if she likes, but not me. Romney and Amy can KMA.

“Whatd that cost him?”
More to the point-—what did that cost those who associate themselves with the core Constitutional and original Tea Party values. I also just saw it happen in GA as the Tea Party guru there(Debbie Dooley) sold her followers out to pick Sue Everhart as GOP chair in GA—a GOP elitist that that couldn’t raise money to save her soul and backed Michael Steele until he was totally out the door.

Let's all remember something important: THERE IS NO 'TEA PARTY', per se. It does not exist. There is "Tea Party Express" and "Tea Party Patriots" (who happen to pretty much hate each other) and a massive melange of state and local-based "Tea Party"-themed organizations and clubs.
So how do we handle this? Should there be an official party formed?
To: LibFreeOrDie
This person IS NOT THE TEA PARTY... THIS PERSON only controls one vote... their own... I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR ANY CANDIDATE THAT IS NOT CONSERVATIVE. CONSERVATIVE IS NOT PURITY... IT IS OUR IDEOLOGY... YOU EITHER ARE CONSERVATIVE... OR YOU ARE NOT. ANYONE STATING OTHERWISE IS USING LIES AS THE BASIS OF THEIR ARGUMENT... IF YOU LIKE THAT... VOTE FOR THE PRINCE OF LIES... VOTE FOR obama.

In the primaries we work our tails off to get the conservative candidate to the general.
In the general, whoever that candidate is, like it or not, you work your butt off to get that candidate elected.
Or, you get Obama.

I was guilted into voting for McCain, and only did it because of Palin. It will NOT happen again. I will never, ever, ever vote for Romney.Ditto that. America will NEVER get off the RINO express if we have a McCain clone as our only choice. I will definitely vote third party if Romney is the GOP candidate. Tea Party Express and Kremer can KMA if she thinks she is the new Dictator-in-Chief! Where does she get off pulling this crap?

Having someone say they speak for the entire tea party is the first hint that they are lieing. It would be as possible to speak for the tea party as it would to be corralling a herd of cats. Tea Party members are way too independent to be told who to support.

OK, people. Let’s say the republicans increase their numbers in the House, and take over the Senate. They then write bills to repeal Obamacare, lower capital gains taxes and corporate taxes, get serious about illegal immigration, reign in the EPA on Co2 emissions, and other measures that will be great for the economy and maintaining our way of life and standard of living.
Would you rather have Obama or Romney sitting in the White House? Remember, the president won’t be writing legislation. Do you really think Romney will veto these bills, as you KNOW Obama will?
We may see the greatest opportunity in generations to roll back the power and prominence of the federal government in our lives, and you would allow Obama the power to stop it all with a stroke of a pen?

Well, if Romney is in the White House, I could see a GOP Congress writing bills to lower taxes. They won’t do anything on the other things, especially Obamacare, immigration, and the EPA. The GOP Congress will take its cues from the leader of the Party, ie, Romney. He certainly won’t want to eliminate Obamacare, the EPA, or take real action on immigration. So nothing will happen.
