OK, people. Let’s say the republicans increase their numbers in the House, and take over the Senate. They then write bills to repeal Obamacare, lower capital gains taxes and corporate taxes, get serious about illegal immigration, reign in the EPA on Co2 emissions, and other measures that will be great for the economy and maintaining our way of life and standard of living.

Would you rather have Obama or Romney sitting in the White House? Remember, the president won’t be writing legislation. Do you really think Romney will veto these bills, as you KNOW Obama will?

We may see the greatest opportunity in generations to roll back the power and prominence of the federal government in our lives, and you would allow Obama the power to stop it all with a stroke of a pen?

Well, if Romney is in the White House, I could see a GOP Congress writing bills to lower taxes. They won’t do anything on the other things, especially Obamacare, immigration, and the EPA. The GOP Congress will take its cues from the leader of the Party, ie, Romney. He certainly won’t want to eliminate Obamacare, the EPA, or take real action on immigration. So nothing will happen.

That's all well and fine. But I don't think that's the issue here.

When we are this far out from event the first primaries or caucuses the discussion should not be "OK, we'll support RINOs or moderates because they are at least better than Obama."

Really, the discussion should be: Who is the best constitutional conservative that tea partiers should get behind and help propel them to win the GOP nomination.

No point talking about what we're willing to "settle" for. It's the same issue we always used to use to criticize those who called for a timetable for withdrawal from either Iraq or Afghanistan. You don't start the debate by saying how much you'll compromise for. You fight for what you want, and then if you're forced to settle for less you deal with that at the time you can't do any better.

I would deal with Obama over Romney any day.....Obama is a wolf and doesn’t wear a sheeps mask very well...though he tries at times....Romney has his sheep mask on tight and groomed by his handlers.....don’t fall for it...

So yes, I will go third party over voting for Romney even if it means Obama gets another 4 yrs. At least we know he’s a wolf....and how to fight him..Romney will be flip flopping like a fish out of water....a moving target.

There is no difference... romney would veto all of those bills as would the muzzie in chief. mitt romney would just continue our march to a communistic collapse. The union will not survive another obama term... only a Conservative can save our Nation... so either we save the Nation by electing a Conservative... or our Nation is finished... if that is inevitable... I would just as sooner get it over with and start the rebuilding... through secession or otherwise. Mark Levin is correct when he says, "If we cannot get a true Conservative elected in this current political and economic environment... our Great Nation is finished".

Either way... millions of us will not vote for another marxist republicrat again. Quit trying to change that reality... you should be putting that energy into doing the right thing... forcing the republican party to embrace Reaganism and to cast off its servitude to socialism.

Well then, I guess they would fold like a thin newspaper like they have done in the past with a GOP majority...

They'll go nowhere without a strong President to lead them...Even then, it's questionable...
