Finally made it home....right at 6 they shut down the programs we work in, so I switched to doing a little posting. Then IE shut down...not sure what that was about, but I was able to finish my regular work in the old system. Now, hopefully, I can devote tomorrow to the new system. It is live now and no one has told us how we work it.

Saturday I will be checking that all my people have the correct description after their name. I learned how to do that today. Monday is all in the new system and I have no idea how to help anyone. *sigh*

Rest? *snicker*

One stop shop is nice. Glad you have one.

Pop is doing pretty well. Sleeping has never improved, but his initiative has come back and he’s driving again. He “failed” his Coumadin test yesterday, so they upped his dosage. He tested 1.4 and is supposed to be between 2 and 3. He has to go back next week. I still need to monitor his meds....every now and then I find pills still in the box.

So good to see you almost back on your regular track. Sounds like a really good CAT scan report. ((HUGS))

Are you still doing regular PT? Comfortable getting up and down?

Good evening/morning, Mooch...((HUGS))...Gut Shabbes.

We are going live with a new time collection system for payroll on Monday. We are nowhere near ready, but no one cares what the payroll department thinks. Lots of problems and very few answers.

Are you all ready for summer jobs?

Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.

I don't know about you
but to me that ground looks awful close
where the guy is jumping out of the plane.
But, then I've never done that...and not gonna.

The DC Metroland weather report

~ Today...Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

~ Tonight...Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Whoz ya daddy? Whoz ya daddy?
Look at those temps would you!!

By God it's SPRING!
Thought I was going to have to put on a sweater this morning,
cause it was down to 63 when I left house
but...
NOPE! Not gonna.

Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are.
Don't leave the room...I'll be bock!

Remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS

Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM - DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

To: All
For The Fallen

With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
England mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.

Solemn the drums thrill; Death august and royal
Sings sorrow up into immortal spheres,
There is music in the midst of desolation
And a glory that shines upon our tears.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young,
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted;
They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

They mingle not with their laughing comrades again;
They sit no more at familiar tables of home;
They have no lot in our labour of the day-time;
They sleep beyond England's foam.

But where our desires are and our hopes profound,
Felt as a well-spring that is hidden from sight,
To the innermost heart of their own land they are known
As the stars are known to the Night;

As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain;
As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain."

Laurence Binyon

Woo-Hoo, it is Friday!!

Looks like we're going to get into the 80's this weekend too, and we have very little humidity out here so it should be pleasent!

Of, course college baseball is on the agenda and a little more dirt time.

Any big plans?

Have a splendicious weekend!
