My son and I were heading after his parade today(boyscouts) but he is now a bit under the weather so we are on standby waiting to see what happens.

Well, there is a Memorial Day parade scheduled for today at 2:00 p.m. It’s a pretty long haul from Mount Vernon to Gettysburg, and so I doubt the Palins will make it this evening.

When we were in Washington for the 9/12 March, we visited Mount Vernon and made it to Gettysburg with no problem. It’s very do-able...if that’s a word.

I live in Gettysburg but work in DC. It’s about 80 miles and at least a 2-hour haul when traffic is light. Anyway, I think they’re headed to Harper’s Ferry and Antietam next.
