When we were in Washington for the 9/12 March, we visited Mount Vernon and made it to Gettysburg with no problem. It’s very do-able...if that’s a word.
I live in Gettysburg but work in DC. It’s about 80 miles and at least a 2-hour haul when traffic is light. Anyway, I think they’re headed to Harper’s Ferry and Antietam next.
