Biker Girl: Palin Sets Off On Her Road Trip (50 photos)(video)
SkyNews ^ | May 29,2011 | Greg Milam

Dressed in black jeans, leather jacket and crash helmet, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate joined tens of thousands of bikers in a rally honouring military veterans.

"It is certainly seen by those in the media as a godsend, as it will give a so far dismal Republican primary season a shot of excitement.

"However, the Republican establishment cannot be happy. They probably view her candidacy as a spoiler, as she has the potential to split their party's vote and ensure a Democratic win."

Mrs Palin is a paid contributor to Fox News and has her own reality TV show. She has written a best-selling book and draws large crowds when she appears at book stores, rallies and other events.

But establishment figures in the Republican Party believe Mrs Palin has been involved in too many political rows and soap-opera dramas to win the nomination.

Alongside Mr Romney, former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and pizza entrepreneur Herman Cain lead the race.

Mrs Palin joined the riders in the Pentagon parking lot before heading to the rally on the Mall in downtown Washington.

"Nice to meet you," Mrs Palin told one fellow rider. "Thanks for doing what you're doing for the veterans."

"How do you wear all this leather and stay cool?" she asked another.

Mrs Palin's 'One Nation' road trip is the latest and biggest hint that the former governor of Alaska wants a shot at the Republican nomination to run against Barack Obama.

Scott Conroy, author of Sarah From Alaska, said: "Sarah Palin is someone who single-handedly turned the 2008 campaign on its head. She can draw a crowd of tens of thousands of people whenever and wherever she wants."

Americans have had it with politicians (both parties) who line their pockets and portfolios and embed careers and benefits for themselves while, using Obama's sleazy verbiage, "operating under the radar" and/or having a globalist worldview (such as RINOs).

Poor Mr. Rove. He is part of the “elite”, “inside the beltway” Republicans who are scared of Sarah! Rove said on FOX that Sarah Palin “attached” herself to the honoring Veterans event in DC. Rove does not report the truth much any more, as most Americans know that Sarah was INVITED to the event weeks ago.

I thought I posted it to whoever posted the article, Sarah is my choice, but I think JD would have been a better choice, besides she said she would only support a conservative, she could have supported no one until their was only one republican to support.

PDS BTW involves a person’s blindness to the faults of someone as well as making stuff up. So those who supprot someone no matter what.

While I regret that the statement was addressed to lucyt it was my intention to have it be said, but not as an attack on lucyt.

Sarah said that McCain wants the same things for America that she does....I take her at her word, do you?

So when I see McCain according to Sarah I should also she what she wants for America.

Therefore, if and when I hear Sarah recant that statement I have to hold her to it.

It's like y favorite football player, when he plays well I praise him, if he plays bad I point that out.

those who doesn't are sycophant kool-aid drinkers......

If I say something untrue bring on the flame throwers I can take the heat...

So LUCYT, my post was not intended to be aimed at you, and I am truley sorry for that.

And for the loyality morons who say Sarah was just being loyal you really do not want to debate that issue with me, you will surely loose that one. In other words if your ex-wife cheated on you would you give her a letter of recomendation for a high security job? Well Sarah should not have done that either.

I will help Sarah become POTUS in any way I can, will I sell my soul, no. Right now for me it's between her or Bachmann. If Bachmann enters first I will support her, if Sarah comes in after her I will need to decide then what to do.

I recall everyone here who proclaimed Bush to be a GREAT conservative and attacked me when I said otherwise. I never backed down and since I have been proven right.

BTW- I never pay attention to any rebukes whatsoever when I know I am right. I have posted many times on FR and more than once been the subject of scorn only to be vindicated in the end.

Sometimes a speculator is ahead of the curve and must wait for other to catch up.

In #74, you wrote:

Not to piss on your parade but lighten up a bit about Palin,

That's what you were rebuked about, NOT your opinion about Palin.

Now you write:

I never pay attention to any rebukes whatsoever when I know I am right.

Then, why did you apologize to LucyT? You said you didn't mean it and you were left alone although you clearly talked to LucyT using the word "YOUR...lighten up."

Now, you open Pandora’s box:

I have posted many times on FR and more than once been the subject of scorn only to be vindicated in the end...............Sometimes a speculator is ahead of the curve and must wait for other to catch up.

I'd rather not comment on this, lest I couldn't "catch up" with this type of statement.

I tire of all who think any conservative is prefect. Palin is my number one choice, but no after she supported McCain I felt she betrayed he promise to only support conservatives no matter which party they are in. Of course we know there are none in the democrat party, heck there aren’t many in the republican party.

Hopefully Palin will enter the race, she is our best hope this I am sure of. Yes I was very mad about her support of McCain and eveytime he betrays conservatives I think of her support.

I would have preferred JD over McCain just to send McCain home.

And when you point out to some here that their current hero has a flaw well we all know what transpires.

Petrina Herman

Petrina just verified by face book message to me, that it was indeed her who was the biker giving Sarah a ride.

She has now changed her profile photo to them together on her bike.

Yep, once again the news media gets it all wrong. Some of them are still reporting that it was Willow driving. Thanks for the update.

Why didn’t Obozo ride his hog in Rolling Thunder?

1. His “hog” was busy working on her vegetable garden.

Keyboard, hell...I think I just gave myself a hernia laughing at that one...

I had the same thought about Barry’s hog!

That’s terrible to admit - but true.
