The Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) has found a new group of people to rally against. The Kansas church, most infamous for its hatred of homosexuals, posted a document last Monday on its website celebrating the deaths of the Joplin, Missouri tornado victims.
Thank God for 89 dead & counting in Joplin, Mo & 1 dead in Reading, KS! the document declared in capital letters. Gods whirlwind is pounding the enemies of Christ! WBC will picket your raging blasphemous stinky memorials!

Unfortunately the press uses the word “Baptist”, and that is all that counts in the world of popular opinion.
They sue people and win settlements.
Yeah - you might as well witness to the ass of a camel with a digestive issue. You’d get the same results.
From what I’ve been reading they have their share of problems. It’s the kids they have who need help what with all that indoctrination they’re getting. That’s what really upsets me.
I thought the whole Kansas-Missouri thing was settled along time ago?
They just seem to be parodying themselves now. It sounds like their leadership has become addicted to the feeling they get from the notoriety, while it lasts. What next? Because if this is the case, they’ll just increase their public idiocy until they’re no longer physically able to.
He isn’t - it’s a long established American presidential PR move, from when the president actually had some connection to the old country. They were just humoring him like you’d humor the village idiot; it’s part of the culture.
Wonder what they'll say when one of their family members dies, or the leader of that sect dies. Will they rejoice as well?
YAWN..just more oral farting from the Westboro Church.
What gets me upset is that this nonsense comes a week after the Harold Camping incident and this will not help get out the real message of the Gospel.
It is time to counter-sue these fools.
Some of the sons and daughters (I would think it is mostly the daughters) are lawyers. They are able to sue cities and organizations for their 1st admendment rights violations. Then they use the money they win from the lawsuits to go to different events, funerals, meetings, etc., to protest some more so they can sue again. It is a vicious group of people and a vicious circle they use.
Some of the Westboro bunch have had their car tires slashed and no one will admit to doing this in various cities.
Various methods of how to get rid of them have been discussed. I think the best way is spray them with skunk smell and they will scatter. I read a few months ago that Israel had developed the skunk smell. I think it is a cheap way of getting rid of the Westboro bunch.
Oh, really?
These people have ONE PURPOSE -To try make religiuos conservatives look bad.
They are in reality a bunch of liberal lunatics. So they are the worst of lying hypocrites.
They LOVE homosexuals, their agenda it to try to paint the religious people at haters.
They are not really a ‘church’, and have no real affiliation with Baptists. It is a MADE UP NAME they gave themselves.
WHERE ARE THE JOURNALISTS TO FIND OUT WHO IS PAYING FOR THEM?
No no no~!!!
you are all MISSING THE POINT.
These people are NOT who they say they are.
They are PRETENDING to be a church, to make religious people look bad. No true religious person would behae this way.
Their leader is a former (and probably current) democrat bigwig.
WHO IS FUNDING THEM??? (arent their ANY good investigative journalists out there?) Follow the maoney- I bet it goes back to Obama or at least the DNC
It confirms what I have said and believed all along, these nuts do what they do so as to very much paint people who are faith-based conservatives, Christians in a special way in a very, very bad light to the delight of the old MSM.
