Tornado's as described in title.
Listen live at the link:
YARK!
Amen.
It’s petering out .
We’re good, I’m here in Flower Mound, all we got was some rain, just a bit of pea-sized hail, but other than we’re better off than most here.
Rose..we are here and most of the tornados have been brief touchdowns so far. My bet is that he is OK. Lots of big hail and scary wind but so far no reports of injuries.
Praying they go around Bowie County - DeKalb took an F5 hit a few years ago, I’m sure they’re not ready for another one...
Have you heard from him? I have family in OKC that was under
the same threats earlier today. They are fine, too.
Here where I am, the water table is about 6ft. Hard to have a basement when you have water 6ft down.

thanks
Statistics have shown disasters hit America whenever our leaders mess with dividing Israeli land. God set the borders for Israel, and He keeps His promises
In too many places in the South, a basement is an invitation to a flood.
Good to know, MY!
You are welcome.
Lax coding. The claim that it would be too expensive.
Tell you what, if it’s going to cost me 25% more, I’m diggin’ deep enough to pay it.
It angers me that homes back there aren’t required to have a safe room below ground.
I told another person here, that I spent a night in Joplin during which there were twelve strikes of lightening within two miles of me, in one minute. And I spent it without a basement or safe room.
After that night, and my care for the people back there, I was convinced that something needed to be done.
Well....in my case, we have what is called caliche as bedrock, and it would have to be blasted with dynamite
in order to have a basement. It’s not feasible.
Don’t know about the others. :)
You are welcome.
Update ... Storms have just about cleared Tarrant Co. Some hail at ballpark in arlington. Nothing major. The worst of the weather heading into Dallas Co and points to the north and east ... For now.d
It’s splitting around me to the North and South.
A cement safe room on a slab, will still be safe if built properly.
They showed a home this evening that took a direct hit from a monster storm, and they huddled in an above ground cement room. They came through it fine.
There were ten or more people.
The home built around that room, completely gone. You couldn’t even tell there had been a house there.
