Just as well.
I like the guy, and agree with him on most things, but he would have been a loser in the general election. Nothing about him gave a sense of the word ‘winner’.

The nomination is now Sarah’s if she wants it. Huckabee was her biggest competition. I’m betting that Sarah announces right before the next debate, which is June 13th. So an announcement about a week before would be about right. If not, then she is likely not running IMO.

Trump said his decision would surprise and shock people.
Running for the GOP nom wouldn’t surprise or shock anyone. He’s been all over FOX and even on Limbaugh(and Rush rarely has guests on).
I’m guessing if he does run it will be as an independent and he’ll just go after Obama from the beginning. Why waste a year chasing the nomination and getting attacked by the other contenders when he can already start out as a candidate in the general.

I predicted he wouldn’t run until this morning when he was on Fox and Friends. I decided he was making far too much of it, too much hype to just end up announcing that he wasn’t running. But I guess the hype was to up his ratings tonight and maybe for some future shows.
