I predicted he wouldn’t run until this morning when he was on Fox and Friends. I decided he was making far too much of it, too much hype to just end up announcing that he wasn’t running. But I guess the hype was to up his ratings tonight and maybe for some future shows.

And he doesn’t really make sense as a VP choice. None of the potential nominees have any foreign policy/natl security/military exp so they’ll need someone who does.

Like W taking Cheney, Obama taking Biden, Clinton taking Gore, Reagan taking Bush, etc...

McCain could take Palin because he already checked off those boxes. Same with Bush taking Quayle, Kerry taking Edwards, Dole taking Kemp, etc...

But Huck doesn’t have any and he won’t help Romney, Daniels, Gingrich, Pawlenty, Cain, Bachmann, Palin, Trump, etc...

Also, he would help among evangelicals and in the South but if we need help with those groups against Obama in 2012 then things are already too far gone.

Maybe he’s angling to play bass at the inaugural.
