Right...however after getting beaten up by TSA sex-offenders, $4 gas and reams of new government regulations, I think the people will not be so accommodating of media doublespeak!

The fact that the birth certificate issue which had all but died got revived by Trump is a sign that big time cracks are forming in the faux marble.

Its one thing to try to blame Bush or Fox or Beck, but now he has to DEFEND his performance and when it comes to performance Cain will slow roast him with garlic and fennel LOL!!! We as conservatives need to get past white liberal guilt and the Trent Lott "beat me" abused wife syndrome. Power is not a RIGHT (natural or otherwise) for the left! The reason Reagan was sooooo hated was not that he restored the economy or was re-elected but that he took on the communists and beat them. He proved the lie that is socialism and for that they will never forgive him and will relentlessly hunt down anyone else that can do the same. So it does not matter who we nominate we better have the stones to STAND UP and STAND STRONG!

“What makes you think that Tea Party members or “mama grizzlies” did not vote for McCain? Why exactly so you call them new voters?”

Folks the tea party movement was a direct result of the high handed policies of Obama so unless they had time machines, they could NOT vote for McStain (QED, its a logic thang)...I would support retroactive voting if it could get rid of the One, but I dont think that would fly, even with libtards<< shaking head>>

...........I see you on your comment and raise you one more.

In my humble opinion, Sarah in mid 2011, is not the Sarah of mid 2008 ! She’s tasted the big time, importance, relevance, stature, BIG MONEY beyond her’s and Todd’s wildest dreams, raw personal power, expensive staffs to do her bidding, expensive private jets, meetings with world leaders and so on and so on. Sarah knows that to announce “NO”..............means sooner, rather than later............., she’s back to an insignificant Wasilla mom without the soccer as Trig will not likely play the game!

So, add my comment to yours, and she’s running!

Many in the Tea Party, Mama Grizzly, and PUMA movements sat home in 2008.

***How many?, Where did you get statistics?***

Look at how the the 2010 mid-terms were very different from 2008. Tea Party and Conservatives turned out in huge numbers in 2010. That’s why the 2010 mid-terms were historic.

***Approx 90.7 million Americans voted in 2010 (41% of eligible voters) but approx 131.4 million Amereicans voted for POTUS (any vote) in 2008 (57% of eligable voters).

In 2008 132,645,505 Americans voted in total. Of these 131,304,731 voted for a POTIS candidate.

That means that approx. 1% of Americans who voted in 2008 chose to boycott the POTUS line....1%.

I know you're from Arkansas. One of my aunts married a guy who's a first cousin at two removes from "The Huck". I have cousins more closely related to him than his wife!

Of course I defend him. Didn't campaign for him of course, but blood counts.

America was founded on the principle that blood *doesn't* and *shouldn't* count in politics. That's the whole point of the rights of the individual.

Just sayin'.

I don’t know about glee, but I’m delighted he saw the light. Huckabee is fine for state politics, but as a president we need someone who will take Onada and the left head on with no holds barred. Sarah has been doing that for almost two years now. Herman Cain and LTC West are very attractive to me. Also Bachmann. The rest of the Pubbie field are semi-committed conservatives (Tea Party wannabes), RINOs, libertarian elitists or worse.

Allow me to me decipher Huckaspeak for you all.

This is what the Huckster said...

“I can’t know or predict the future, but I know for now my answer is clear and firm: I will not seek the Republican nomination for President this year.”

Now lets break it down together

Part #1
“I can’t know or predict the future” =

This means- “I’m lying, and I have just built in my escape clause.”

Part #2
“but I know for now my answer is clear and firm” =

This means- “In case you didn’t get it the first time, my answer is neither clear nor firm, I’m lying, I have to, or FOX will invalidate my contract and I need my show and guest appearances on other FOX shows to keep my profile up and get my message out, oh BTW, I just built in my second escape clause”

Part #3
“I will not seek the Republican nomination for President this year.”

This means- “I cannot tell a lie, all the Caucuses and Primaries are NEXT year.

The Huckster saw what FOX did to Newt and Santorum when those two announced their intentions to run. They were immediately dropped by FOX.

The Huckster can now keep his show, await Sarah Palins announcement, and will continue to frequently appear as a guest analyst/host in higher profile shows like BOR and Hannity.

Huckadont will use FOX to raise his profile and get much more airtime than he would as a candidate, all of it free, in fact, they will be paying for him to appear. Sweet gig if you can get it.

Huck is a shoo-in to win the Iowa Caucus, all he has to do is show up late in the game and he will win decisively.

He will write off New Hampshire. He will make his stand in South Carolina.

What I expect The Huckster to do is too start making appearances in South Carolina this fall, appearances to “Preach” at the largest churches in the state, the 1st Baptist Churches in all the major Metropolitan areas.

The Huckasermons will be in front of thousands of Baptists, a majority of which voted for him in 2008, the Huckasermons will also be broacast and sent out over the airwaves reaching smore. (Most 1st Baptist Church services are broadcast on local Television.)

In early January 2012 the Huckster will announce his candidacy, citing no clear front runner, and that he now feels his is what he is being asked to do.

His Strategy will be “Lightening in a Bottle” the media will talk about Hucksters surprise candidacy and his rising star, his shocking win in Iowa, and his come from behind, out of nowhere win in SC, Donors will flock to the frontrunner.

The Huckster is going to spend the rest of this year raising his profile for free, and shaking a bottle of Hucka Cola. Right before the Iowa Caucus he going to open that bottle.

He hopes to ride that momentum to the nomination.

“Allow me to me decipher Huckaspeak for you all.”

Wrong. All that you just wrote would mean his conversation with God, in which he found inner peace, was a lie.

That alone would sink him - as well as the rest of it exposing him as a cynical, lying twit.

The Huckster is done - he knew he would never win either the nomination or the Presidency.

Your post is a sterling example of wishful thinking, though. ;-)

He’s hoping to be drafted at a deadlocked convention

Nope. That role will be played by Jeb Bush.

TS

Has he gave any indication that he’s at all seeking the position?

Expose him?

I thought that it was common knowledge....

“That’s why I think the nominee be Pawlenty or Huntsman or someone bland-seeming like him: not too fiery, no strong negatives, positive, likeable guy all around. The GOP doesn’t want to risk anything with an strong idealogical candidate.”

I disagree with you and your post #227......Our PROBLEM outside of the Communist Democratic party IS the GOP.....NO MORE WEAK A** CANDIDATES.....Palin fights and it is now or never.....Once your pushed up against the wall so many times, you either fight or lose yourself (and your country).....

You have to parse Hickabees statements just as you would Bill Clintons.

Common sense dictates to me that if the decision was final, then why all the qualifiers?

He provided himself more out than an extra innings baseball game.

“He provided himself more out than an extra innings baseball game.”

I thought he just needed filler to hold the viewers ‘til the end of the show. I’m sure his ratings were double normal at least.

It was nice seeing Ted Nugent play, although I thought “Cat Scratch Fever” was a racy choice...

“Well I don’t know where they come from
But they sure do come
I hope they comin’ for me
And I don’t know how they do it
But they sure do it good
I hope they doin’ it for free”

Very classy song, Mike...LOL

Great guy - not a good choice for President. He said in quiet reflection, he knew not to run.
He's a good guy, that's true (the aborted in heaven surely are sad he's not running) ... but we need someone appealing all around, and if the rains keep up, maybe Louisiana will disappear and their governor can run for president instead.
