White House officials have sidelined a rapper who glibly validated threats and violence against police, and quietly dropped him from the afternoon session of todays poetry event at the White House.
First lady Michelle Obama welcomed the invited poets to the event, but notably did not mention the controversial rapper, whose stage-name is Common. Rita Dove, Billy Collins, Kenny Goldsmith, Alison Knowles, and Aimee Mann, lets give them a round of applause, Ms. Obama said. Well get to hear from these folks, she added.
The first ladys office declined to comment on whether Common will play a role in the events evening session.

Shoot. Looks like someone interrupted the Obama’s in the process of fully executing an embarrassment for themselves. We need to quit interrupting.
Maybe they will rap “Boats and Hoes” instead?
Should’ve let him appear, and ‘then’ outed him. Shoulda’ let the Hussain’s fall for the bait.
When Bush used it, the MSM perceived it as evidence of his lack of class.
When Hussein uses it, the MSM perceives it as evidence of his "man of the people" appeal.
It appears the WH blinked. During any other time they would have thumbed their nose at the public. Looks like they a totally scared. Those internal numbers must be awful. The fact that they did the removal quietly tells me that they are hoping the Blacks don’t notice so they can keep that sagging base happy.
he’s getting a private audience.
He’s probably upstairs playing Nintendo or Wii golf with O.
Still, the damage has been done by inviting the creep. I guess Hussien is trying his best in removing any OBL bump he had. LOL
Doesn't Bill O'Reilly have the word "folks" trademarked? I didn't know anyone else was allowed to use the term anymore.
She also thinks Jeremiah Wright is a man of God. Consider the source.
It's been at least a decade. Back in the mid '80s when it was fresh I thought it'd never last the decade. Meanwhile, over a quarter century later, it plagues the culture like never before. Mainstream culture.
Dude. Wrong. Seriously.
If you are white and use the word “folks” to describe people The entitlement community types think it is degrading them. If you are black and use the word you are recognizing them as kin.
SO, THE GHETTO BITCH GOT CAUGHT WITH HER HANDS IN THE COOKIE JAR. I’M SURE THE RACIST RAPPER WILL GET A PRIVATE AUDIENCE UPSTAIRS LATER.
AND, YES, I’M SHOUTING BECAUSE I’M SICK AND TIRED OF THESE BASTARDS DISSING OUR COUNTRY!!!!
Their actions are intentional. They are both black racists and don't care what patriotic Americans ("bitter clingers") think. If they can P us off and embarass the country at the same time they consider it a job well done.
Michelle wasn't kidding when she said she had never been proud of America until O'Bozo was elected and she could move into the White House.
And O'Bozo didn't appoint a black racist as Attorney General and staff the administration with radical blacks, communists and America haters by accident.
They are both determined to shove their radical black, wealth redistributing, America hating, trash rapping, Hip-Hopping culture down our throats.
That would be Obama’s mom and dad.
When did rap become accepted and mainstreamed?
Visiting the in-laws way out in the country of Ohio. Stopped at a gas station for a fill-up. In comes a pickup truck with a coon tail on the antenna. Alright, nothing unusual about that.
The kid opened the door and he was listening to the most hardcore Black rap I’ve ever heard in my life. Every second word was MF this, and MF that. This from a guy whose idea of ‘urban’ is when he gets to the red-light.
I don’t know. Just weird how deep this glorification of violence and depravity has penetrated.
The taxpayers pay these "artists" travel, lodging, and per diem costs as well.
All so Moochelle can "get her Freak on."
