I was talking BIG PICTURE... I am sorry that you do not see it in those terms. You were talking BIG BROTHER. How dare the little people speak out. We don't find them credible and did not give them permission. Republican elite BS. This was far more entertaining than 99 percent of the crap on TV and it certainly didn't do America any harm.
Don't be sorry I don't see it in those terms. I'm not.

You just referred to Herman Cain as an idiot so you must be a racist. There is no other possible reason to say anything negative about Herman Cain, admit it, you are a racist. As a racist you probably also consider Obama an idiot as I do. Uh, Oh.

Fine... I will not attack you for your thoughts on last night... I will show you the respect that you refused to show me... and I will also make my own opinions known. That is the concept behind this community.

No bert... I did not "make it up". I did form an opinion based on the content last night. I have an opinion... I am free to offer it on this site. What I do not understand, is why you can't simply discuss this subject in a FRiendly manner instead of treating me like some DU troll?

I was not aware that I was attacking you. Sometimes I get a little worked up and go overboard, but I didn't perceive that I was attacking you. I was disagreeing with you.
You are one of my favorite posters. I always look at your posts and consider what you say.
No personal offense meant.

At the moment, my pipe dream is to watch a Herman Cain vs. Barack Obama debate.

Yes, but no matter what, the media would proclaim Obama “the clear winner.”

“Why? Because he wants to run the country like a business or because he has positions that would put money IN the coffers instead of a black hole?”
How many time did he say “cost/benefit analysis?” He was truly terrible.

Didn’t watch, but if both you guys like him, that is a positive for him.

That’s good to hear. He already had me but my thoughts on him were reinforced. I haven’t been in a financial situation where I can donate yet, but that performance last night had me wanting to, lol. I can’t recall ever wanting to send a politician money, but then Cain isn’t “one of them” is he?

Cain looks good so far, but he has to have an impeccable professional and personal history to survive the media bias. If he does get that far, you can bet they will be digging for anything that even sounds bad.
To: surfer
The Fed and he would dramatically expand our personal liberty.
You are correct here, but I do not want a protectionist. Initially, he is against most of our foreign involvement because he cites the lack of a true Declaration of War. And while I would like to see an actual Declaration whenever we get involved with these things, our Congressmen are spineless and always want an out in case their vote for Congressional Authority goes awry.
My biggest problem with Paul is that when you press him further on military involvement, he desires America to be neutral. Our largest adversaries would like nothing more than America to become totally neutral.

After last night I support Cain more than ever BUT....I would like to see Sarah enter the race and Romney, Daniels, Gingrich stay out of it. Cain, Palin, Santorum, Paul, Johnson, Pawlenty.
Pretty much in that order too.

Of course, the counter is that in 2008 we elected the guy who had the least experience of any candidate in 50 or maybe 100 years.
But on top of Obama being a lousy, voting "PRESENT", Senator, he also had absolutely zero EXECUTIVE experience. Herman has that executive experience and is NOT afraid to make a tough decision in a quick manner. He also has a clear vision of America which is a wonderful, welcomed, guiding light.
