This twit has absolutely no concept of that which speaks. I guarantee I can have this person telling me her most closely guarded secret in one hour or less using “harsh” interrogation techniques.

The myth is that torture doesn't work. And her own commie buddies use it regularly. To good effect, I might add.

I'd like to know exactly how she concluded torture does not work. I'm sure if she asked a bunch of jihadis about it they would say that torture doesn't work. It's like asking a bunch of murderers if the death penalty works. Of course they'll say no.

I really do not care if torture “works” or not. It is gravely immoral in all circumstances. Its use and portrayal as acceptable virtually guarantees the long term danger that it will be used against American military personnel and eventually even civilians. I am not kidding myself that the Constitution is any more than a polite fiction these days, but I am sentimental about it all the same.

Every time one of these articles about how supposed ineffective torture is I’m ROTFLMAO.

Any one who comes from a multi-sibling family knows that even the modest “torture” or coercion inflicted by a sib nearly always works. Boys or girls makes no difference, we’ve done or had it done to us in some fashion or another when mom an dad weren’t around.

The only gold plated rule is that damn near everyone can be broken. Ask anyone who survived the Soviets, NAZIs, STASI, Red Chinese, Viet Cong, Khmer Rouge et al.

Ms. Thistlewank is no doubt a cosseted and over indulged only child who never experienced the sibling wars and has only the movies, TV, and liberal hand-wringing whining ineffectual parents which formed her world view.

In Ms. Thistlewank’s case, I suspect a modest verbal assault on her over-inflated and unwarranted high sense of self-esteem and the threat of with holding FaceBook privileges would suffice for her to give up her nearest and dearest.
