Cleary the WH is afraid of violent Muslims just like in Dearborn.
In my view, it’s probably better the photos are not released. You know that there will be some who will claim they are fake. And of course, our enemies will say we disrespected their “hero” and use it as an excuse to attack (not that they need an excuse). There are some things that don’t sound right about this, but I don’t know that releasing the photos will do anything to erase any doubts.

So anything decided under Bush can be decided by Obama, but anything that Obama & Co. have to decide for themselves cannot.

You're right that they don't need an excuse. Not pissing off people who are already pissed off at us is not a high priority in my book.

the Admin is playing a game with it’s opponents. Maybe waiting for a GOP front runner to wade into the waters of “where’s the photo” and then blam. Fake or not, just like the BC, they create a dynamic that will chill all questions of the administration for fear that the admin will ultimatley smack them down with the answer (and we know no one reads above the fold on the left). just a theory. i hope the bastard is dead. but there is something fishy going on.

Hussein and his administration are going to milk this for all it’s worth. They will release dibs and dabs of info as needed (under the guise it takes time to declassify things) for as long as their pollsters tell them they are benefiting from it. Oh it isn’t a conspiracy or something, they don’t need to sit down and plan such a thing - they are all on the same page and realize killing Bin Laden is an approval ratings winner and will collectively keep it in the news for as long as possible. Obama will go to NY Thursday, but don’t be surprised to see him zipping off to PA the next week, then the Pentagon the week after, then another clip of the raid a week after that, and so on and so on and so on.
