No one could possibly believe that the Pakistani government wasn't protecting him these past 10 years.
Its a bit naive to think that one of the best intelligence services in the world wouldnt have known if someone like Osama went anywhere near urban areas. Osama was a golden goose. Kept getting billions to prop up their economy and military. Guess he outlived his value with BHO facing election year.

1. I bet there is a very good correlation with the changes.
2. This takes Petraeus out of any possible contention for 2012.
3. Obama had this news for a week and held it for DNA confirmation. Just in time to step all over Trump's TV show -- a transparent move.
4. The most interesting part of the whole announcement was the very strong implication that the US conducted the raid and didn't tell the Paks until after it was over. Think that one though. The Paks would have tipped Osama off if they had known before hand, after the raid they were forced to agree it was a good thing. The Paks have been hiding him for a long time.
Big time violation of Pak sovereignty -- I wonder if Obama had the stones to call that one, or if some field commander had to choose between asking permission and having the raid fail, or asking forgiveness after success?
If Obama had threatened them with hell since he needs something like this electorally, do you think the Pakis could have resisted??? As it is, the WOT will go on and Pakistan will keep getting its tribute ..er aid. So Osama was expendable.
