Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on Saturday called on war with Italy, citing Italy's 'colonization' attempts.
In a speech delivered at the Libyan state TV, Gaddafi said that he could not prevent war with Italy since Libyans wanted it.
"We are already in a war with Italy since Italians kill our children in 2011 as they did in 1911, that is why I cannot forbid Libyans to defend their lives and carry the military actions on the enemy's territory," Gaddafi said.

Well, I can understand why Obama is involved. He wants to help the Muslim terrorists take over all the Arab states. All the terrorists are Democrats now; hope and change ...

I'll get some flack for this... but if it's true that Ghadiffi son's house, a civilian residence, was bombed and his grand CHILDREN were killed, I would consider that a war crime.
Ghadiffi himself is evil, but sorry I gotta problem with bombing a house full of kids who aren't. It may not be true, don't know. But if it is, I'm disgusted. And it's not a whole lot different than a terrorist attack....

If what the Iranians said is true, and Gadaffi’s 6th son did defect from the family this February, then I really would not put it past him to have his son blown up for treason and try to blame it on NATO. Or perhaps even a jealous sibling. If there is anything left to inherit after all this, one less brother and children to share the pie with. A real twofer.

"Paranoid questiondid Q trick NATO into killing off his ungrateful useless son?"
Yes. He made contact with NATO and asked them to carefully drop only the smallest JDAM onto the pink target he would raise onto the roof of a particular house. He had his son dipped in a big bucket of pink paint then hauled up to the roof and chained down. Then the colonel called in the NATO air strike.

Why just Italy? Wouldn’t there be war declared on all NATO countries involved?

Gadaffis 6th son did defect from the family this February, then I really would not put it past him to have his son blown up for treason and try to blame it on NATO. That's what I thought, too. This will rally all the Libyans to his side, including the Al Quaida crowd, because it makes him look like a victim and if he attacks Italy - which wouldn't surprise me - he'll have the support of the entire ME. Plus, he's gotten rid of an enemy (his son) who actually wasn't an Islamist but was a reformer.
BTW, anybody seen Ahmadinejad lately?

It is required before the battle to begin. The exact words are, “One, two, three, four, I declare a thumbwar.” I don’t remember much from the 4th grade, but rule did rank up there with the double-dog-dare protocol.
