Expert: No Doubt Obama's Birth Certificate Is Legit

It didn’t take long for some of President Obama’s doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.

But a leading software expert says there’s no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.

The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.

But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.

“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.

Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.

We are talking about Hawaii. But the guy fooled you into seeing his script as consisting of latin letters EVEN when several parts of it are clearly NOT letters at all! BTW, famous Chinese Americans in/from Hawaii are: http://www.yellowbridge.com/people/firsts.php Hiram Fong was one of the Senators at the time Obama was being born.

Depends on the file format, what software created it, and what software you are using to open it up.

I don't need to know the specific details to know this sort of thing happens. You should have seen what was going on with transmitted files back before they had standards.

BTW, it is still a common practice with State Department for persons with facility in any sort of Chinese character system to ADD A CHOP ~ usually within brackets. That allows more certain differentiation between Chinese individuals.

I haven’t checked, but has the PDF version been locked? Or is it wide open. You’d think a good install of a PDF producing engine for Gov docs would lock the damn thing. Why would the damn rendered at retrieval COLB need to have layers?

And the memo that very conveeeniently states so much info that could not have been needed or relevant is very - conveeeenient.

The information was clearly relevant to the immigration authorities.

But I’m sure no honest and principles gov employee would ever do anything wrong in regards to Zero’s ineligibility like doctor FOI documents, no of course not, couldn’t possibly happen.

Even if your speculation (which seems quite paranoid to me) was accurate, or even if the memo is real but based on false testimony by Barack Obama Sr., that is still not proof that SAD was in Seattle in August 1961.

I still have it up on my computer, that along with the original layers that were posted, which google removed.

I tried to install a program that would take a pic of the screen, but I would have to restart Firefox in order to do it and I would lose both.

I’ve never had to alter any data in a pdf.
Thus, no need for layers.
Works just like the layers in Paintshop Pro and Photoshop.
If you don’t merge them, there’s a problem.
Somebody got sloppy.
